Search Lykabittos hotels

The best time to visit Lykabittos is during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) months when the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, making it ideal for exploring.

During these periods, the temperatures are comfortable, typically ranging from 20°C to 28°C, and there's less humidity compared to the peak summer months. This makes it superb for outdoor activities like hiking up Lykabettus Hill for panoramic views of Nicosia, or enjoying leisurely strolls through the city's streets without the intense heat.

Couples looking for a relaxing holiday will appreciate the milder weather, which is superb for dining al fresco at one of the many local tavernas or enjoying a quiet evening out. The spring also brings beautiful wildflowers to the landscape, adding to the scenic beauty.

Families will find these seasons particularly accommodating for visiting local attractions and beaches in the wider Larnaca District, as the sea is warm enough for swimming and the crowds are generally smaller than in mid-summer.
