"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in dog and human hair. There was mould above the shower and dirt and mould under the sink. The areas around the toilets were soiled with rusted old urine splashes. "A little gem nestled in the countryside with glorious views. Lucy’s apartment was spotlessly clean and tidy, comfortable and very well equipped. Lucy is an absolute hoot- very welcoming and full of suggestions of things to see or do. Perfect for dogs too, with a lovely enclosed garden and lots of walks from the location detailed in the information folder. Lots of lovely pubs nearby too including a local just across the way. We would definitely come back."

"We were pleased with the location of the hotel, it was in walking distance of the station, the seafront and the town centre. Folkestone was lovely to explore. The staff throughout the hotel were warm and welcoming and did their very best to assist us. Our room was generous in size and was warm and clean. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and they were both delicious and good value for money. I would highly recommend the gluten free fish and chips! We thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails in the bar which were 2 for £16 during Happy Hour which was fab for a Saturday night. We would highly recommend this hotel."

"All very easy. I wish they’d told me that they could’ve sorted my parking until midday the next day before I paid and only had it until 8 the next morning but it was a minor thing. It was also very hot in our room even with the air con on full. However, lovely room, comfy bed and a lovely view from our room."
