"It is a good hotel. Beautiful location, friendly staff. But for the price and as it is 5 star hotel, i would expect to more. For 5 star hotel i would expect for better food quality, better facilities and fancier rooms! I would be a great for 4 stars hotel."

"We stayed in a junior suite. Overall the room was lovely and the view over the beach was the best part. As we were in a suite a sofa would have been nice but there was one chair. The staff at Expedia were very good and answered every query efficiently so will definitely be using Expedia again. Also the hotel staff were very polite. The food area were very clean and had a sufficient variety of options every day although there was always a shortage of spoons and cups. Everyone was constantly asking the staff for more of these. Beach towels, you had to pay 2€ to change which was a surprise. There was no bar after 9pm and there was only 2 sofas by the bar to sit after you had eaten. We probably won't stay at this hotel again but overall we had a nice stay."

"We had a lovely week at the Abaton. All the staff were really friendly and helpful particularly when on departure I discovered I had left my straighteners in the room. The staff went above and beyond to locate them…which they did. We did half board which was really handy and the restaurants and food was amazing and in a beautiful setting. The hotel is in a great location and if you don’t fancy the pool there was plenty of beds on the beach. All in all a very restful week and the weather was gorgeous!"

"Great location across street from a small sandy beach. We had a good view of the sea from 2nd floor room. Seawater swimming pool is large and clean. Landscaping in garden around pool is beautiful. Free self parking nearby. Rooms and amenities such as beds, linens, kitchenette, shower…need renovation. You also have to pay extra fee daily to be comfortable at night to turn on AC or rent a portable fan. Pool bar is permanently closed."
