Great apartments in a superb area.
A nice apartment in a quiet area, 5 minutes from the centre. The idea that you cleaned and tidied your room, threw out the rubbish and put your sheets etc to be washed caught me by surprise, but wasn't an issue for me. The beds were very comfortable and I slept really well. Very well placed for cycling (secure storage) motorcycling and walking, especially for the Cirque du Gavarni, Col du Tourmalet etc, I look forward to going back later in the year.

Close to town, simple hotel
The hotel is very spartan, but would be perfect for staying with a large group during the ski season. Good parking and kitchenette of bringing your own supplies. The town is lovely and the locals are quite welcoming.

Old, with creaky floors and stairs. Cave like. You had to put on your own linen when you got there. No toiletries.
