Superior Views - a safe place on 13 acres With A Private Wilderness Setting


An amazing private setting and cute cabin 2 bed , 2 baths with big lake views on 13 private acres, yet it’s 1 mile to Superior and close to several big resorts and Lutsen ski area is one mile .Added a new gas fireplace inside and also has a great fire pit outside. Hooked up the WiFi to go with the satellite TV. Great for small families as it is close to lots of fun things to do at the ski area and near golf course too.

This cabin, (Superior views ) is very comfortable for smaller groups. It features one large bedroom, a 2ND bedroom Split from Master with a Queen bed and single bed. It has two bathrooms, one big full bathroom and a 2nd half bath , a full-size kitchen and living area plus an attached garage. There is also a screen porch and a deck, both with big views of Lake Superior. The main bedroom also with lake views .

The cabin ideally accommodates a family of up to 5 people.*
This property backs up to the Minnesota State Scientific and Natural area and hundreds of acres of private land. It is very close to the ski area, golf course and many great restaurants.

The screen porch is a wonderful place to listen to the animal sounds (but not be in a tent). Hiking trails, mountain biking paths, berry picking areas, access to lakes and rivers are all nearby and much more - the owner will be happy to help you figure out what fun things you might want to do. We have Sat TV and it has a great cell signal for phones and iPads and fiber internet.

*We do have a larger property nearby also on VRBO if you are needing room for a larger group.

Perfect location

We had a great time at the cabin staying for our snowboarding trip. Literally minutes from Lutsen Mountains and in a private, peaceful, and scenic location. Great views, great communication from the host, John. We would definitely stay here again!

Quick spring trip to Lutsen

What a great location for all the fun activities in the area! We came up for one last Midwest ski weekend and John's place is so close to Lutsen mountain, it couldn't have worked out better. We brought our 2 dogs, so thanks for being dog friendly!

Great North Shore Weekend

We stayed for a long weekend in September, the area is beautiful, and the cabin is close to all North Shore amenities. Restaurants, hiking, golf. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cabin and would love to stay again! Bonus that it was dog friendly thank you for that option to be able to bring our dog with.

Excellent property; clean and spacious

The property is right in the Lutsen hill for skiing. It’s spacious with a bedroom on either side of the kitchen sitting area. It is a beautiful setting; lots of space inside and out. The owner was super attentive and accomodating.

Great Time, Nice Cabin and Right on Snowmobile Trail

We came up for our yearly snowmobile vacation and the cabin was comfortable for 4 adults and 3 larger dogs. John is very easy to contact and checks in periodically during stay to make sure everything is going okay. Not far from snowmobile trails so you can ride right to the trails . We will definitely be back!!!!

Perfect place for our ski trip

We had a great time staying at this property! John was fantastic to work with, I highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re skiing at Lutsen! This home is only about five minutes away from Minnesota’s finest skiing!

Nice cabin and close to Lutsen

This was a great place for my wife and two daughters and two pups for a ski trip to Lutsen. Only a couple minutes from the hill and had space enough for 4 people. Only thing to note is that the second bathroom is a half bath with no shower. We would stay again.

Perfect north shore location

We loved the cabin and all the amenities it offered. It was perfect for a small family and was accessible to most major north shore attractions near the Lutsen area. We had one rainy day and the cabin was a relaxing and spacious place to relax. We hope to come again!

Great location, everything we wanted to do was 5-25 minutes away. Cabin was super functional. Good measure of privacy, the living room, separated, the two bedrooms. Screened porch was great. Comfortable beds.

Great getaway in Lutsen!

This cabin was perfectly secluded with a gorgeous view of the lake. Well stocked with linens, very functional kitchen for cooking in. Communication with John was great. Being dog friendly was the cherry on top!

Private location, hidden firepit, and glow in the dark rocks!

Our family enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was quaint, well furnished, centrally located near many area attractions, and our dogs were happy to be there as well. The view of Lk Superior and the stars at night were lovely! We enjoyed the screened in porch also even though the bugs weren't bad during our visit. The lupines were its crowning touch!

Serene and Private Setting

Overall, a great location! A very private and serene setting. Necessary amenities were included. Very spacious cottage. Really liked the screened room. The pups felt at home, and so did the humans. We would definitely come back.
