Hotel is well situated and visible from the A road. Parking is relatively easy and hotel new, clean and comfortable. Corridors leading to rooms are well lit and carpet new and clean.
Rooms themselves are spacious and modern, beds clean and comfortable.
I did use sports room or restaurant area.

It was a more out of necessity rather than planned visit (flight cancelled from Luton to Newark) but for the price it was "good value". One interesting thing - they serve breakfast from 4 am which is convenient when catching en early morning flight from Luton Airport which serves many European destinations by budget airlines. Staff was friendly!

Staff were friendly & helpful. Food was adequate but a bit pricey. Room was clean & comfortable, equipped with a kettle. Beds were extremely narrow and light in bathroom flickered constantly - but i was going on holiday and didn't give two hoots!
I had a comfortable, spacious room and the bathroom had all the expected amenities. Perhaps I was unlucky that there were two functions on but there were no bar staff to be seen in the bar when I wanted a drink.
From the outside this hotel does not look promising - a fairly anonymous square block on a far from picturesque Stevenage dual carriageway. But inside it's a lot more impressive with a modern, airy, open reception. The rooms are clean, comfortable, modern and well appointed (especially with the 'executive' upgrade). Had an excellent peaceful night - would gladly stay here again in future.

Easy walking distance to the rail station, although we had to use a cab because of the volume of luggage we had. Near by food establishments. Room was reasonably sized (especially compared to the room in Chiswick we had two years ago). Beds were comfortable. I made an error when I booked and the room only had one bed, and I needed two. The staff quickly moved us into another room with no issue.
Stevenage is a great place to stay to be near London without paying the higher rates to stay there. Even on Saturdays there's frequent express trains to Kings Cross Station in London, so popping into town is quick. With my daughter now safely at Cambridge, I would likely stay here again for the convenience and lower cost. Since she's going to be there a while, I'll probably be back numerous times.
Known primarily as the home of London Luton Airport, Luton is also the site for one of the UK's largest carnivals, hosted in the grounds of the picturesque Wardown Park. Stockwood Discovery Centre lies adjacent to the golf club and is a great day out for families. Visitors can admire the changing historical displays, wander the themed Period Gardens, and settle down for some food in the picnic area.
