The staff was friendly and courteous, it was conveniently located for seeing the Luther related sites in Wittenberg, and breakfast was quite good. But, the hotel/room decor is quite tired and needs updating in almost all areas. The towels were worn and frayed as was the carpeting on the stairs. The shower/tub is quite high and a bit of a challenge for older travelers. In our opinion, not deserving of the 8.7 Expedia rating.

Everything about this property was perfect. Location is great. Restaurants close by (outside the front door). Parking was right in the back of the property. Front desk clerks were friendly, helpful and spoke English. The room was clean and very sweetly decorated. We loved it all.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Zimmer relativ groß. Bad mit Badewanne. Handtücher müssten erneuert werden. Abfluss am Waschbecken ist abgenutzt, Teppich im Flur ebenso. Gute Verdunkelungsvorhänge. Normales, gutes Frühstück. Durften unser Auto nach Auschecken noch bisschen stehen lassen, was sehr nett war.

Sehr nett, top Lage, etwas abgewohnt

Ein netter Empfang, kostenlose Parkplätze, mitten im Zentrum der Altstadt gelegen - allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Lack ist ab, so sieht es aus und so riecht es auch. Und doch fühlt man sich irgendwie wohl.

Wir haben uns dank des sehr freundlichen Personals und der guten Innenstadtlage-direkt in der historischen Altstadt gelegen u dennoch rückseitig mit Parkplatz u Garage für Fahrräder sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hat auch eine Historie mit berühmten Gästen. Da ist es fast natürlich, dass es etwas verwinkelt ist und auch der rote Teppich im Treppenhaus mal wieder ausgetauscht werden müsste.Dafür ist der Aufzug relativ neu u schön gläsern. Danke für Ihren tollen Service!!

Im Treppenaufgang riecht es säuerlich, die Zimmereinrichtung ist lieblos, der Fernseher hängt schief (und lässt sich nicht gerade rücken). Gebucht hatten wir 2 Nächte, nach 1 Nacht haben wir die Location of Desaster freiwillig verlassen.

Für uns das beste Hotel der Stadt!

Wie immer ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, der durch nichts zu toppen ist!. Das Personal hat, trotz der momentanen Corona Situation, alles bestens im Griff. Das Hotel ist immer unsere erste Wahl, wenn wir in Wittenberg sind. Einfach klasse!!
