"Absolutely amazing. Lovely host and his wife. It’s an old building almost everything is wooden, I’ve had a wonderful sleep. Just a few feet away from the old streets/bazaar. From the time I arrived, to the time I left both husband and wife made me feel special and took care of everything. Oh and the lady makes delicious cookies and sauces! Only stayed less than a day but the impression is ever lasting. Beautiful place and people. Throughout my ten days in Turkey (I frequently travel to Turkey from Uk - and explore places) this was the best day/night spent. Perfect for couples, although I was solo and still felt magical. Safranbolu itself has become one of my favorites - there is something magical about this town. "

"I love when you book at a Hilton property and know it will live up to the standard one expects. We arrived later in the evening and after a full day of driving and sightseeing, it was lovely to be able to know everything would clean and comfortable. The room was well designed, confortable sheets and bed (though it was a small double and not a queen or king). Crabtree and Evelyn shower products. Lovely view. "

"This was my second time staying here. I made Safranbolu a stop on my trip just so I could stay at Efe Guest house for a few days. The hospitality and the kindness of the owners are beyond exceptional. I felt even more at home this time than the last time; now I feel like part of the family and would look forward to coming again. "The hotel is in the Ottoman style of the area. The welcome at check-in was perfect and the service was great throughout our stay. We had a corner room which was very spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable and although the bathroom was small it was adequate with a powerful shower. The Turkish breakfast had a good variety of fresh dishes and was plentiful. Our room was next to the road and we could hear the traffic passing by, however it did not disturb us. We found the location of the hotel was perfect for the old town with just a short walk to the heart of the area. "
