"We were greated by a lovely host, the room was great we had bunkbeds and a double bed. The kids loved the outside pool and goats/chickens. We had a nice homemade breakfast in the morning. Convenient location for the motorway. "

"Well presented room, in a quirky building that was slightly difficult to find as the name board has fallen down at some time and not been put back up. Would consider using again, but might look for options slight closer to the centre of Montlucon. We were only staying for one night on our way south through France. Staff friendly, continental breakfast ok and parking on site."

"We have stayed at Campanile Hotels as they are conveniently situated, have ample free parking and have a restaurant. The room was clean and there was a large comfortable bed, good size bathroom and have external blinds which makes the room dark for sleeping. We were very disappointed as the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday. The website stated it was open every day of the week including Sundays which is why we booked. Their own website should be updated! "

"The location of the hotel (at the end of the motorway) is perfect. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has very limited facilities eg no gym or relaxation area. Breakfast was limited for our UK palette, eg the only egg option was boiled and you had to do it yourself, so it was not worth (in my view), the £13 pp additional charge. There were also no options for evening dining on site and as our stay included a Sunday and everywhere was closed it caused us...

"Really great stay, studio was brilliant. We were unable to find anywhere to eat on Saturday night, but because studio was so well appointed we were able to cook ourselves a meal. Everything about the studio was good. Aubusson was interesting with lots to see, but our impression was marred by there being stinky dog poo everywhere. The mayor needs to organise pavement cleaning. "

"Ons verblijf bij La Joyeuse was in één woord geweldig. We werden heel warm en persoonlijk ontvangen, waardoor we ons meteen thuis voelden. De kamer was stijlvol, schoon en heel comfortabel, we hebben heerlijk geslapen. De driegangen menu is een echte aanrader: verfijnde, smaakvolle gerechten met duidelijk veel aandacht bereid. De tuin is een grote meerwaarde: een rustige, sfeervolle plek om even helemaal te ontspannen. Wat voor ons echt het verschil maakte, was de oprechte gastvrijheid....
