"Zuerst will ich sagen dass die Besitzerin sehr Freundlich und nett war zu uns. Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht sehr sauber und nicht gepflegt. Die Türen könnten nicht richtig geschlossen werden von Innen und von drausen musste man mit Fuss reinhauen das sie zu gehen. Wir hatten die 4-te "Haus" in der Reihe und die war fast 300 m von WC und Dusche entfernt. Horror wenn man in der Nacht aufs Klo gehen muss, und Spinnen haben bereits überall Netzt gespannt. Auch , wenn es einsam ist, kann man von hier aus mit dem Boot die Landschaft erkunden und geniessen. Leeuwarden und Sneek sind nicht weit. Mit dem Boot allerdings doch schon Tagesausflüge. Wir waren jetzt bereits 2x dort und kommen sicherlich gerne wieder."

"At first, we were taken aback at the un-staffed hospitality concept but we got used to this after we checked in and found it an innovative option. There is always someone present behind the counter during breakfast hours and there are cleaners as well. The hotel has a contemporary, modern feel to it. The seating areas on the ground floor give it a safe and comfortable ambiance, almost like coming home after a day of sightseeing. The staff were well organised and friendly, always helpful. If there was one thing I would suggest, it would be to keep the carpet around the bed area properly vacuumed. Our room faced the street and although it can be noisy when we opened our windows for fresh air, we could also shut the double windows to maintain quiet inside. The hotel is close enough to the center of town and far away enough to avoid any hustle and bustle. Eating places, ATMs, grocery stores are all within walking distance. The Post Grand hotel next door is its parent company so there is also the option of eating at the restaurants there. We thoroughly enjoyed our 14-day stay! "
