"I had a wonderful stay at Athena Hotel in Kampala. The room was exceptionally spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly has the charm and quality of a boutique hotel. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and always attentive to the smallest details, making me feel genuinely valued as a guest. The breakfast was another highlight, offering an excellent variety of fresh and delicious options, with great attention to presentation and service. Having stayed at two different hotels in Kampala, I can confidently say that Athena Hotel was by far the better experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kampala, whether for business or leisure."

"The pool was very dirty and unusable. The gym was locked and unusable. The room was ok but the power kept going out, and we didn't understand why. There was supposed to be a standby generator, it didn't come on most of the time. Shops were hard to get to. The road was being repaired most of the time we were there, so maybe no it may be easier to get around"
