"It was very clean. A little dated but clean. Continental breakfast needs some work. Value was great. The pictures under property description makes you think its on the water with docks. Its not on the water, your blocks away from the bay. A little misleading. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I would stay again.

"Our stay at Terrace Bay was nothing short of awesome! We were traveling through the UP to see family in lower Michigan and booked due to the listing information.
The room (in the new addition) was exceptional. It was clean with good amenities but not too overboard for a UP hotel.
We were able to also eat dinner at the restaurant and I cannot remember when I had a meal that good in a long time. The food was excellent, the dessert was decadent, and the service was beyond exceptional. The only “complaint” (not even a complaint) is that you will spend a bit more then typical for a meal if you are considering other dining options in the UP but it’s 100% worth it.
The whole package is a perfect balance of UP hospitality with modern tastes and service.
We will be back and we will be recommending it. "
"Excellent vacation rental. Well stocked for all your needs (cooking to entertainment). Short drive to sand beaches and boat launch. Water at rental was rocky, need to wear water shoes which are provided. Kayaks and paddle board were also a great addition to the rental property.Amy was an excellent host, checking on us making sure we are having a great vacation.If you are looking for a northern Michigan bay summer vacation, I recommend."
"The hotel was easy to access with dining possibilities and shopping near by. I can't remember a whole lot but that only means our stay was problem free. The were accommodating in allowing us to book the room for an additional night and staff were friendly."
"This place was located perfectly between the park and the main drag where all the food is. And the kids lost their minds every time they walked out the door and saw Lake Michigan with a big cargo ship setting in port. My wife loved the coffee bar available to use. I would say if I would have to criticize anything I would say we should have picked a place with two bathrooms but that’s on us. On days all 6 of us came back at the same time to get ready for bed didn’t work out too well. The beds are also older and firmer so hopefully in the future that would possibly be updated soon. But again great stay hopefully it’s available next year for the fair."
