For the price it was a good deal..My room although it smelt good ( which is important to me) was somewhat outdated....the 1st night I was awakened by police out in parking lot trying to calm a loud person who was screaming at another , they were on the roof above my room at one point. I mentioned it to the owners in the morning thinking that they'd maybe give me a credit or something for the inconvenience but they offered nothing.

Pictures posted online of the property are not even close to what is available. We went to the office to notify our bathroom sink is clogged… response was no, i checked it last night, not addressed, still clogged when we left. Nothing like spitting toothpaste in the toilet. Only toiletries in the room was conditioner. Only coffee in the room was 1 decaf and plastic glasses. Enough said.

Overnight stay for a trip across Lake Michigan on the SS Badger. The motel is very close to the docks, making our morning commute very easy & quick.

One of the cheapest motels i was able to find closest to the Fourth, yes it's old-fashioned, a bit dated, but it was a 5 minute walk from Stearns Park/beach/lighthouse etc. and a 5 min walk from the center of downtown. No complaints, honestly.

The gentleman that checked me in was shy, but courteous. The property is dated, but it’s $65 per night. Regardless, the room was clean and comfortable. I checked out before looking into breakfast. I’d stay here again.
