"The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children."

"The rooms are awesome, but the yard is still under development, the canal is choked with grass and trash making the kayak rental a no go , it's located abit remote if you are planning on walking anywhere. "We loved our stay at the Dreaded Grape cabana. The photos don't do justice to the size of the property in a lovely courtyard with an honesty bar full of cold beers. It's steps away from a quiet beach and easy walking distance to the centre of Caye Caulker. Excellent air conditioning and the cabana was well equipped with coffee. The bed was very comfortable and we loved sitting out on the terrace for breakfast. Ben was a great host and gave us excellent tips to help us make the most of our stay....

"You must have a bike or rent a golf cart for this location which is worth being away from the city noise. The airport noise is not much. Lovely accommodations seems new. Very large. Check out iguana reef for a beach. You can enjoy any resort’s amenities. The leeward side is nicer for beach swimming due to the sargassum."
