Beautiful grounds and interesting building. The rooms and building are very well taken care of, with nice upgrades like modern bathroom, and some modern stairways. No wifi was very welcome, as we were looking for a relaxing, digital detox. There's not much around in the village, which is good if you are looking for a quiet getaway.
The spa is very small, but not too busy while we were there. Breakfast buffet had many delicious options and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant was average, the food was ok - basic German and a few international and veggie/ vegan options, which was nice. Overall it was good, although it felt like there weren't enough waitstaff.
