Welcoming and friendly staff, good and plentiful food, excellent cross country skiing locally which was all free with the Aktiv Card which we were given after we checked in. We’ll definitely be back.

Fine but quiet
A nice typical old fashioned Bavarian style hotel. The breakfast and evening meal was as expected, good but not outstanding. The general clientele at this time of year was quite aged so the evenings were particularly quiet with very poor to none existent service in the tiny bar. The hotel does however have separate restaurant/bar with much better atmosphere and service. The pool and sauna areas are clean and adequate. Being also a brewery means the beer is very good and tasty.

All information/instructions/menus are in German. Front desk staff speaks a little English and she makes a lot of effort to translate for us. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Point to note is there are no air-con in the rooms so may be a problem during Summer.

das Personal ist sehr freundlich und stets bemüht, aber besonders beim Abendessen etwas unkoordiniert; der Bier spa-Bereich (textilfrei) ist sehr schön und sauber, der Hallenbadbereich mit Sauna etc (nicht textilfrei) ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht so gemütlich; top ist der beheizte Dachpool. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, umfangreich und lässt keine Wünsche offen; vom Abendessen (insbesondere die Hauptspeisen) hätten wir uns etwas mehr erwartet (Auswahl und Qualität); die Vor-und Nachspeisen waren dagegen sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind groß genug, die Betten ok, der Badezimmerbereich etwas klein, aber ok.. das ganze Hotel macht einen gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck.
