This Newly opened Shed Stay is a true country retreat located on over 100acrs in the Preston Valley.
Consisting of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom this beautifully designed and furnished fully self-contained Farm stay getaway promises peacefulness with every modern convenience.
Located only 2 hours from Perth, 30mins from Bunbury and 10mins from Donnybrook our Farm which is set high on the hill overlooking the valley below has an array of activities to choose from to suit all ages.
Feed and pat the farm animals, hiking and bird watching while taking in the breathtaking views, too swimming and canoeing in the large spring feed water holes.

Perfect for families wanting to absorb in the relaxed atmosphere in a secret location, while being very central to all the must-see tourist spots the Great South West has to offer.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend to others. The hosts were very friendly and explained everything well on arrival. The accomodation was clean and well equipped and the kids enjoyed feeding the animals every morning. Thanks very much!

Beautiful location and property. Everything about our stay was perfect

Located on a farm the shed has been done to a really high quality. Each day we watched sunrise from our bed and the sunset from the hill behind the property. The owners are so welcoming and we helped feed their animals. Perfect stay for young and older. One tip: bring provisions as it’s a drive to shops.

A very peaceful stay

We had a very enjoyable stay in the "shed", enjoying also having afternoon tea on the verandah, using the well-equipped kitchen and other comforts. The area has a lot to offer. On Luke and Kes's hobby farm is a big dam to swim in and in the nearby Ferguson Valley there are also are plenty of good swims in the Collue River.

Awesome farm stay

Chalet was perfect & clean, views were amazing, Luke was very helpful and accommodating. The swimming dam was so peaceful. So many great things about this farm & we can’t wait to book again

Lovely, functional, and lots for kids to do

We were very comfortable here. The chalet is very functional. My five year old son had a great time seeing the animals and playing at the dam. Luke patiently answered all our questions about the animals and the farm. Close to attractions, wineries and breweries. Kitchen was well stocked and even the knives were sharp!

Amazing Farmstay

This was a perfect holiday for our family. The kids loved running around the property and feeding the animals with Luke, who was a fantastic host. Accomodation had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable. This is a destination I would highly recommend and I'm sure my family will be back for another stay sometime in the future.

Fantastic stay in Ferguson Valley

Such a beautiful property, we wished we could have stayed longer. Exceptionally clean and well fitted out, there wasn’t anything overlooked. (Well maybe an outdoor fire pit but that was at another cabin on the property) Great location to wineries, breweries,Donnybrook and Wellington Dam and biking trails. Kids enjoyed the animal feeding and paddling on the dam.

Very peaceful and a great place to unwind. Property is well cared for. Animal interactions enough. The property is steep in places so walking gets the heart rate up. Overall a lovely experience.

Worth repeating

Very enjoyable, pleasant introduction. Owner took care to explain the features and local knowledge. He provided access to other parts of the property. In warmer weather, especially when staying with younger children, the dam for swimming is a unique feature.

Tranquil Farm Stay

My parents and I had a fabulous stay and have made memories that we will treasure. The property is immaculate. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. The beds are cozy and comfy. The views are totally out of this world. We loved coming home after our days out exploring to a wine on the veranda, watching the birds, alpacas, and emus, and listening to the breeze in the trees. Luke could not have been more prompt or helpful with all his communications. We visited so many wonderful places including Honeymoon Pool, Black Diamond Lake, Collie, various scenic drives, and Wellington Dam. We enjoyed kayaking on Luke's dam - how amazing to have your very own kayaking spot! We also enjoyed the produce that was in our basket when we arrived. Thank you for having us.

Refreshing Christmas Farm Stay

Our Christmas stay at Luke's farm was very pleasant and we enjoyed the open spaces and animals surrounding our well appointed 'shed' cottage. The tranquility and fresh air and cool nights provided the perfect conditions for a sound sleep. The beds were comfortable, and there were two night stands and lamps, including ample hanging space and drawers for your clothes. Air conditioning is available in the main area and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The kitchen had everything you need for self- catering, and the clothes washer and dryer were a bonus. The place was spotlessly clean, and there was a stick vacuum to help with our exit cleaning. This is a first as we normally have to use a broom and dustpan and brush. Comfortable lounge furniture and a big flat screen TV made relaxing during the evenings very pleasant. In the bathroom there has ample bench space for your toiletries and the shower is spacious. Had we stayed here in winter and used the wood burner we would have to pay for the wood we use. Other places we have stayed at were happy to provide a wood pile and as much wood as we need at no charge. This place has been converted very well to accommodation and has been tastefully decorated. Luke was a gracious host and was quick to help make our stay comfortable. Some stay improvement suggestions: A corner lamp with soft lighting in the living area would be handy to avoid having to use the range hood light. We would suggest adding block out drapes to keep out the early morning summer light in the main front bedroom. At this time of year the sun was streaming in at sunrise and, as well as the blind not blocking light, it was also shining through the side of the blind making it daylight before 5.30am. The patio furniture would be best placed under cover as it was not possible to use during the day unless you wanted to sit in the sun, which we avoided at this time of year. So, either swap around the barbecue or install something above to provide shade over the table and chairs. We really enjoyed the area and the property including the starlit night skies. Thanks, Luke, for having us.

Peaceful haven

This property is exceptional.Our host Luke warmly welcomed us explaining the property and the adorable animals ( so love those huge pigs) . The Luxury shed is very well appointed with quality and lovely little homely touches. From the minute you arrive you feed in deep country and immediately relax and you don’t want to leaveA little Gem in Paradise .Thank you Luke and Kes we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back

An amazing place to stay

Everything about our stay was perfect (and we have stayed in holiday rentals around the world). The location is idyllic, the accommodation outstanding (everything you could need), the grounds and facilities just right for a relaxing stay - and Kes and Luke are great to deal with. We appreciated the fresh eggs, cereal, citrus fruit and other touches. Luke’s welcome was just right - he gave us enough information to find our way around the property as well as the surrounding areas. Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

Refreshing stay with family

It was a pleasure staying the property managed by Luke and Kaz. The property was very nice and clean. It had everything you needed while still giving that country cottage feel. Our kids loved the animals on the farm, especially Bert the emu and the baby Joeys. That was the highlight of our stay and hope to come back next time.

Country escape

We stayed at Luke and Kes’s little hobby farm and it was a slice of heaven. Luke is amazing with knowledge of the local area and has a great sense of humour. He is very helpful too. Feeding the animals and learning about them was incredible. The accommodation was so clean and well appointed. The mattresses were quite hard so if you have a back issue maybe consider a mattress topper. We felt like we had been there for ages after only a short stay. Definitely a piece of paradise.

Everything my heart required, and more...

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The property is kept beautiful and the animals were lovely to watch and help feed. The shed stay was amazing. A luxury cabin is a more appropriate description, so much time has been put into the decor, and it has paid off. We had a great time on the dam and felt very relaxed. A wonderful stay. We will be back and telling our friends!
