An apartment on the exclusive Quinta do Lago estate that accommodates 4 very comfortably and 5 with an extra bed (additional mandatory charge, please ask). A well equipped, very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with patio and private garden within the fabulous Encosta do Lago complex. The property is end-of-terrace with a wrap-around garden which is south-east facing so has sun for much of the day. The resort offers excellent leisure facilities including free access to a large, palm-fringed pool with children's splash pool and sun loungers, 2 tennis courts, a gymnasium and on-site spa which features a sauna, Turkish bath, massage rooms and a range of wellness treatments There is a pool bar open in the warmer months serving drinks, snacks and more substantial meals. At the onsite restaurant you can dine under the stars on the terrace overlooking the pool or in air conditioned comfort on Portuguese and Mediterranean style cuisine. Show your pool card for a 10% discount.

we had a wonderful 6 nights stay in Encosta do Lago, blessed with blue sku and sunshine for the entire trip. The apartment is a mere stone's throw from the pool with bar restaurant and tennis courts. The apartment was spotlessly clean, sizeable rooms, powerful showers and an extremely well equipped kitchen. We had an incredibly peaceful stay and would definitely recommend.
Super convenient and comfortable place for the best of Quinta
Well appointed ground floor apartment with loads of space for a young family of four. Lovely swimming pool and tennis courts a stones throw and other Quinta facilities and restaurants, including the shack at the lake, close by. Very enjoyable, will be booking this again!
The property was wonderful in all aspects: quiet, spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished. It had all the necessary appliances. It is conveniently located in beautiful Quinta do Lago. I hope to come back sometime in the future and I have no hesitation in recommending this property.
We had an absolutely fantastic week at this property, which has everything we've come to expect from Encosta Do Lago. Immaculate property kitted out with everything we needed and a lovely garden space (we utilised the BBQ that is provided), close to the pool, beach front and a range of beach bars and Quinta restaurants.

I booked for family and they were so happy with the apartment and the facilities, pool, gym, snack bar and restaurant. Was spotless on arrival but had a bit of difficulty with the front door lock on arrival. The lovely lady arrived to sort it out even though it was a Sunday. Thank you.
This is a lovely spacious apartment well appointed with good sized rooms in an exclusive area. All the equipment seemed in good order and the beds were comfortable. Large tvs in the lounge and main bedroom with U.K. tv channels and sky sports. A very fast WiFi is also there. The property is a very short walk to a large pool with children’s area with restaurant and bar. The property is close to the Quinta lake where there is a man made beach and various activities as well as more restaurants. The sea and sandy beaches are a good walk away. In my opinion a car is essential to get around. The nearest supermarket is Pingo Doce at Quinta shopping about 2 miles away. Larger supermarkets are at Almancil. There are excellent sandy beaches a short drive away. Overall we were very pleased with the apartment and would return.
A beautiful clean villa with everything you need for a stay. Small touches like dishwasher tables being left just took away a lot of thinking and made the stay very enjoyable. We loved the resort, and the pool is excellent for toddlers and teenagers. Tucanos nearby does excellent food for both adults and children alike. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back! Thank you to James, the host, for being so responsive to any queries. The guide to the resort and area was super helpful!
Easy check in. Owner is very quick to answer messages Great apartment with all expected amenities, minus maybe some board games perhaps. Only 1 minute from the pool and pool bar. Pool is lovely, very deep in places but safe for all ages. The restaurant on site has very good menu with fresh fish and great steaks. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to The Shack and the water facilities there, book well in advance. Would come again, Quinta do Lago is a very lovely place, it is a very expensive place to eat out or do any activities, and the best restaurants in the area get booked up well in advance. All said we had a great 2 weeks.
Great apartment with everything you could need in a really great location, really close to the pool and walking distance to places we wanted to go. Comfy beds, aircon, sky tv, washing machine, great bathrooms. And the owner has given brilliant communication & quick response. Overall fantastic

We had a lovely stay at the villa ,we had every thing we need , close to the pool and beach ,We also had a lovely garden and BBQ Quinta do Lago is a beautiful area . We will be back next year .Thank you James

We have just returned from a 6 night stay in this lovely apartment.
It was spacious, clean and well equipped. Lovely beach towels and a hair dryer were amongst many of the much appreciated items left for our use.
We had a great time and very much enjoyed the use of the pool, which was a short walk away and huge! The complex was quiet and smart. A car is needed really but we made do with using Uber’s on this occasion.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again. Thank you for letting us enjoy your apartment.

The apartment is spacious & well stocked in the kitchen area. There were a few issues upon arrival: ants were present & patio furniture not cleaned. We cleaned the patio furniture. Ants were sporadically but consistently present in the unit, on kitchen counter, floors, bathrooms and living area. Issue was raised with owner who proceeded to send cleaning staff. As guests, we obviously got rid of the ants as we saw them. When cleaning staff arrived, no ants were seen - at that moment. As such, they informed the owner and nothing was done. We asked the owner, to tell the cleaning staff - please spray the unit. Just because you don't see ants at a given moment, doesn't mean they are not present or that they will return which is in fact, what kept happening. We offered to leave the unit for several hours so a spray could be done but because the cleaning staff didn't see ants at the moment they arrived, they did not spray the unit. As a result, we constantly spent time getting rid of ants everyday. The owner said ants were a fact in the Algarve & a ground floor unit. What is not acceptable however, is the lack of care on the part of the owner. If a guest consistently informs and provides you with pictures and video's of ants, the hope is the owner would try to make the situation right for their guest. But nothing was done. Good pest control keeps ants at bay. We kept the unit spotless. The ants &the way the owner responded to us, made stay less than perfect.
My wife and I were in the Amancil area for our friend’s daughter’s wedding so decided to make a holiday of this invite. Our friends joined us for our second week once their entourage had returned home.
Firstly, James was a wonderful host, he must’ve been sick and tired of me contacting him before our visit but responded - cheerily I think - almost immediately to each my queries, even from his trip to Mexico!
The apartment is in a wonderful area, very peaceful and within striking distance of everything we needed - a rental car is essential. The amenities available were excellent- tennis courts/gym/pool/pool bar and restaurant- we gave the tennis courts and gym a miss!
The apartment had everything you would need for a self catering holiday.
We would definitely return to this apartment and the area in general.
The only downside was that the property management company promised that they would make two visits for cleaning - only one was provided - a couple of towel changes would have been very welcome
This did not detract from what was a memorable trip to The Algarve

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Exactly as advertised, extremely well equipped and a lovely garden to catch the morning and afternoon sun. The pool was loved by all and only a 2 minute walk (as advised by previous reviewers). No issue at all with Sun loungers, even if arriving mid afternoon. The beach at Quinta is stunning and also fun watching the planes take off from Faro. We loved eating out and Limoni, The Bold Octopus and Tony’s at Quinta shopping were favourites. Already looking forward to returning.
20 minutes or so from the airport this spacious and well equipped ground floor (with private gardens) is also very handy for the excellent facilities of Quinta do lago. Choice of restaurants within walking distance communal pool and bar less than 2 minutes and a range of beach bars within a short drive or longer walk. Very easy and relaxing break
Apartment was great, very clean, spacious and comfortable beds! Outdoor space very good. Brilliant pool very close! Beautiful restaurants, particularly liked 2 Passos and Tribulum. If you don’t rent a car then use Uber, worked well for us. James the homeowner was really nice and replied almost immediately to any enquiries. Overall a brilliant holiday and look forward to returning!
