"Staff & food all great and we would definitely stay again"

"The hotel is well over priced for what you get room was clean but one water for 2 people coffee tea average 3 biscuits for 2 people but stingy swimming pool was freezing decor needs updating hot tub only warm kids were getting in no supervision from any staff members.restaurant busy so if you are not wanting to eat your left standing waiting for a table breakfast basic no scones or a lot of variety. Drinks in bar substand I had to change a drink as it was flat.all that Sayed it for me was the singer he was great and entertaining.would not recommend or return so disappointed for the high price paid for the room "

"Gorgeous breakfast- especially the natural Yogurt ! lovely selection of pastries/ hot food . Also had a lovely wrap at lunchtime and a scrumptious curry for dinner. Friend had a sizzling chicken stir fry…. Yum! Staff were absolutely lovely. My room was spacious and bright. Would definitely recommend. "

"Room was large but definitely needed a facelift/upgrade (and that was considering we had already received an upgrade from the hotel!). In addition, the hotel only opened the day we arrived after renovations (not flagged in advance by either Hotels,Com or the hotel itself !!!) so limited dining and bar options were available so a bit disappointing."

"Nora’s Cottage is amazing, with hosts Sinead and Vincent beyond par. From the moment we were welcomed, to the minute we left, our stay at Nora’s Cottage was a highlight of our Ireland holiday. The Cottage is beautifully appointed and Sinead’s provisions enabled us to enjoy our time there. Sinead’s communication was great and when a heating issue presented at the Cottage, she could not have been more apologetic at the time. However, as a result Vincent was relentless in his ‘quest’ to remedy the situation. Amazing…. We had a comfortably warm night as a result of his efforts. Our only regret is that we hadn’t booked more days to stay, as said earlier, it was the highlight of our trip. Sinead….. Thankyou!!"

"A stay at Lough Bawn house is always good for the soul. It’s a beautifully tranquil place to visit and to relax. Beautiful period house with matching decor and ambiance. Warm and comfortable to stay and read a book while looking out over the lake. Highly recommended. "
