Marina Torre Navarrese Resort

10/10 Excellent

"This place is a resort in the European/Latin fashion. Medium low budget but very, very nice. Much Nicer than 5 of 6 other 'budget places' we stayed in Italy. The included breakfast was amazing. Of course we had to pay for the flights to/from Sardinia, and a car rental to get here. The drive is nice but takes time due to narrow, windy roads. The place apparently has its own beach but we were too busy to use it. The local town, Santa Maria Navaresse has many nice restaurants and several grocery stores (mercatos). The main (dirt) parking lot is about 300' from the resort entrance. There is a lovely, large, shallow pool that many guest lounge around much of the day. There is also a free public beach about 1 km north of the resort towards town. The room was very large (think apartment living room) and bathroom large as well. The water pressure and temperature were very good - not quite American. The shower was good for Italy (maybe 22" x 22"), but be careful not to point the shower head at the shower door or the water runs out the bottom onto the bathroom floor. The second day here there was a wedding which closed the restaurant to other guests and partied until midnight - but we were across the pool from it and I had earplugs to no problem. We would definitely come back. We hike the Cala Goloritze' trail which eventually leads down to a little cove on the Mediterranean where we sat in a wavey tide pool for awhile. Very refreshing."

"Came for our honeymoon. The room, the staff, the location, the facilities are all absolutely amazing. The hotel staff cannot do enough for you, the attention to detail from them is amazing. I cannot stress enough how good they were. They made a special occasion absolutely perfect. The location is stunning, pay for the sea views, it is paradise. In the restaurant, The food and setting made every meal perfect. Gorgeous hotel. Special thank you to Suzanna, she made this occasion very special."

"Lanthia was a wonderful resort. Very quaint and quiet if you travel off-season (October 1st). If you are looking for a local small village with a beautiful beach and mountains this is the place for you. If you want more of a party scene this is not the place for you. Bar closes at 10 PM and everything in town shuts down early. Overall great experience. Would recommend."

"Great large property, in a charming local town. It’s awesome resort for families with lots of activities/entertainment like paddling boating, floats, beach toys, sailing, boat rentals etc. The property is large & uphill, rooms a located on the hill, you get your steps in. The staff is always riding around in carts and you can catch a ride if that’s an issue. The rooms were large and clean, with a great view."

"Wir waren für eine Woche in Lotzorai und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Anwesen mit mehreren Wohnungen ist wunderschön in einem riesigen, sehr gepflegten Garten gelegen, unsere Wohnung war großzügig und sehr ruhig, obwohl sie nahe an der Hauptstraße gelegen ist. Die Wohnung ist gut bis sehr gut ausgestattet, auch wenn manches schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Insbesondere die Matratzen waren für uns etwas zu durchgelegen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr gut. Er hat uns alles wichtige erklärt und viele Tipps gegeben.Die Lage ist sehr zentral im Ort und man kommt überall gut hin. Und man hat eine eigenen Parkplatz auf dem Gelände.Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen. Bitte beachten, dass die Bilder von einer bestimmten Wohnung sind, man dann aber ggf. eine andere Wohnung zugewiesen bekommt. Qualitativ gab es aus unserer Sicht aber keinen Unterschied.Mille grazie!"
