"In Index town, on the unruly Skykomish river, there is no place we’d rather be than in David and Lynn’s cabin…and maybe nowhere else period. For I don’t know how many years, we feel lucky to have been one of the many to hike and watch the wildlife on the river while tucked into the comfortable, artfully designed and decorated and well-built cabin. The views of river and mountains - when not wrapped in clouds, is breathtaking. Time to settle and be with the nature that shares its home with us is a gift. We will return as often as possible. Thank you…."

"This place is an absolute gem! The host has thought of every little detail to ensure a comfortable stay. The property offers the perfect escape; it’s convenient to town but feels entirely secluded and surrounded by nature. We absolutely loved having the river right at the edge of the yard and enjoyed dining by the riverbank for a couple of dinners. It was the perfect home base for visiting North Cascades National Park!"
