"Lovely location overlooking the coast, inside was charming although a little dated but with a bit of investment could be stunning. Booked a room with sea view and wasn’t disappointed, room furniture old but functional, bed was clean and comfortable. Main road directly outside but very little to no noise. The bathroom looked as though it had been modernised but was let down by a hole in the wall panelling and one side of the towel rail hanging off the wall. Breakfast offerings pretty standard, cooked items of bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, hash browns, mushrooms etc, cereals, yoghurt, juices and hot drinks. For a Saturday night / Sunday morning the hotel appeared quiet with only eight other people in the breakfast area. As we were there for only one night it was just a place to sleep really so can’t be overly critical. Lastly, the staff we encountered were all courteous, pleasant, and polite."

"The host was very kind and easily reachable with the app and via e-mail. The space was clean and lovely and as described. The location was beautiful. The address was a bit confusing as similar to a nearby apartment so I recommend clarifying exactly with the host. He left some prosecco and snacks for us on arrival, thank you! Do bring your own toiletries such as wash, shampoo and such. We stayed 4 nights and walked the beach, toured Elgin Cathedral and visited local towns."
