In winter, a 7 km cross-country ski trail is available. In Kniebis, about 15 km away, there is a lit cross-country trail and a slope for alpine skiers and snowboarders. Shopping is available in Loßburg (6 km) and Freudenstadt (about 8 km) with many stores.
Loßburg (about 6 km) offers an indoor and outdoor pool. The Panorama-Bad Freudenstadt, about 15 minutes by car, provides fun for everyone. There is also a free and scenic swimming spot at Nagoldtalsperre, about 26 km or 30 minutes by car away.
