The property has two buildings, an old building form the '70s and a brand-new building. I was given a room in an old part of the building and at the time of check or during reservation this was not clear - next time it would be nice if you can give a heads-up to guests so they can upgrade ahead of time. Even though old area of hotel was remodeled, hallway and elevator smelled of stale, wet and mold. Carpet seemed overused and stained, and the elevators ran slowly. The room had a Basic mattress and pillows. The bathroom shower tends to flood the bathroom if the showerhead was not aimed directly at the drain. Breakfast was great, so was dinner (which I had to pay additionally). The bar food and drink offerings were pretty decent as well. Staff at the bar by the pool felt always overwhelmed and busy. Service was ok, but very slow. My partner didn't manage to get coffee couple of times, as servers were ignoring him and helping other customers. I was lucky to get their attention.

The condition of the room is slightly old and a bit "broken" The hairdryer is old - and the balcony door seemed to be broken, as there was a "pestillo" on the floor to open it and close it (To be honest, I guess this is the fault of previous guests being uncivil and breaking the room).
