The surly receptionist said their terms make this clear (I checked their website and found nothing). It put a dampener on our stay. The main restaurant was also closed. We were advised we could use their other restaurant. We checked it out, it is really a locals bar, which I normally wouldn’t mind but it was filthy. "El estaso de la casa es lamentable, es muy vieja y los muebles estan viejos y sucios , las fotografias de la casa no tienen nada que ver con la realidad , la verdad es que hemos quedado muy descontentos. "We had a great time. The location is great, walking distance of almost everything you need. Navacerrada was beautiful during Christmas holidays with a Christmas market and activities to do with the kids.Perfect to connect with nature and go for a hike/bike. The communication with Carlos was excellent, he was very responsive. Thank you for having us in your lovely home!"

"This place has clearly fallen into disrepair. The pool was completely empty other than a puddle of mud at the bottom and the walls were filthy. There were damp marks on the walls in the bedrooms. The host initially promised a refund and then denied this as soon as we'd checked out. A total waste of money and time. Don't make the same mistake we did, you'd have less heartache throwing the money in the drain! "

Lovely hotel

"Lovely hotel set within a historic building. Staff were excellent. So was the breakfast. Short walk to the centre of Segovia and a short bus ride from the AVE rail station. It also boasts a gourmet restaurant however due to other commitments we weren't able to take advantage of it."

"a former monastery of great scale in a large campus in the mountain with black pine forest. the huge cross on the hill top is in the view from the room. although the decay on the exterior of the building is visible, the interior is well maintained. overall it gives you a unique experience. "
