"The hotel is perfectly situated for amazing lake views. The staff is friendly, breakfast was very tasty, and the rooms are comfy and cozy. The reason it's not a 5-star review is (1) they failed to service our room one of the three days we were there and (2) there were some condition issues of the hotel grounds - the hot tub was questionable at best and the dock on the lake was dangerously weathered. Despite that, I would recommend."

"The staff here are outstanding. We arrived during heavy rain and had booked a glamping room which is not connected to the main hotel. We were offered a chance to stay inside the hotel if we preferred, at the same price. We were shown both rooms before we made a decision, and we chose to stay in the glamping cabin after all (because it was SO cute!). "Typical wooden structure for this area, pleasant gardens, heated pool, spacious room: we had booked a twin and got a family room. A more interesting breakfast than most places we have stayed. Good value evening meal deal on offer. As it would have been a trek along the dirt road into town, we were glad of this opportunity. The staff were very pleasant though little English was spoken. My fault for not learning more Spanish! I was backpacking with my daughter so this was a little more upmarket...
