This is a very basic hotel, with few amenities. The shuttle runs on the hour, some of the time; we watched every other hotel shuttle go by before we got ours. It is more of a motel than hotel; many rooms are accessed directly from the parking lot (not an indoor hallway.) So not all that secure feeling. Note that there is no breakfast, not even a simple continental one. The room was small, very simple. There was no secure place to leave luggage until our room was ready. The staff was nice. We had just a one-night layover in both directions, and I cancelled our return stay that night, and moved us to the Sheraton for our other layover. A few bucks more, and worth it. IMO.

Stellar property from the get go. Attention to detail by everyone I Called front desk for shuttle from airport and voila the Driver arrived. Check in was quick and easy. Both at desk friendly and happy. Asked if we needed a shuttle to airport and assisted us with arranging. Room was beautiful. Many many great things about our room. Bathroom was a highlight Well designed and functional Thank you very much. The return trip to airport driver qualified all travellers and loaded luggage in order of Terminal. Yay. Keep up the wonderful work Kudos to all staff. The pride in their roles was amazing.

I didn’t like that the shuttle will only leave the motel on the hour. No matter what time you arrive at the airport and call them, they aren’t going to leave to get you until on the hour. They claimed the reason was because their driver needs a break. Every hour, apparently.

The receptionist was very pleasant and quick, booking was easy and it’s nice and close to LAX. The outside of the rooms is pretty dingy and looks run down, but the room itself was fine. Clean bedding, and surfaces. The bathtub however has a lot of visible mold and that pink bacteria build up where the tub meets the wall (Serratia marcescens and Aureobasidium pullulans) which are toxic, but can and should be easily cleaned. We could also hear everything from outside and our neighbours. Lots of places in walking distance for food, and they have an order in option too, plus shuttles to LAX. Overall, it was fine, not terrible but not good either.

I didn't actually stay here. I couldn't get on the shuttle to the hotel because of how many people needed it, because the airport shuttle only runs once an hour, and I had a train to catch. I tried to call to cancel the reservation, and they told me no. Even though I had selected 'pay at property,' they still charged my card, again, even though I didn't stay there. I had been here a few times before reluctantly because of the price, but now because of their unwillingness to accomidate, I will not stay again. I will not revise my review as it meets all the guidelines given, it is an entirely truthful account of what happened, and customers deserve to know both sides of this hotel, not just the good.
