Definitely false advertising. Place is literally falling apart. First room we were offered had horrible stench of smoke, black mold in the bathroom, the sink and counter was broken, caulking was definitely not being used correctly or properly. Honestly this place was ghetto. They gave us 2 towels and only 1 small package of shampoo and conditioner. Walls were paper thin and we were kept up all night due to hearing doors slamming, people stomping and everyone’s conversations. Room 209 was an example of poor quality of a hotel. Do not go off of the pictures, everything is not as it seems. The parking in the back is sketchy!!! Be sure to bring your anti theft steering wheel. In all honesty the only good part of the whole stay was how the guy on night shift handled everything. He was polite and sincere about apologizing for how this place looks. If you are thinking about getting a hotel at a cheap price, this place is exactly what you are looking for. Cheap and rundown. Stay far away from this place

The main problem was charging an extra 25 for parking which was way out of the way. The lady that worked the front end was not only rude but very abrasive, had an obnoxious overal attitude and should not be working there. She's the rudest customer service lady I have ever seen and experienced. I'll never stay there if

The bathroom was disgusting. A stranger's razor was in the shower. Along with opened shampoo and conditioner packets covered in hair. There were exposed outlets behind the bed. Some outlets didn't work. You have to pay $25 to park in their parking lot. I assumed hotel parking would be free, silly me. There's usually a WiFi password in the room, there wasn't one. one of the worst property i ever stayed , No proper heater, no soaps even we after we asked we paid 226usd for 2nights for 4people , when we ask the desk person in the morning for extra soap its was such rude attitude she said me that the she dosent own the hotel n they are only allowed to give 1 complimentary soap for each room, yesterday she was person who checked us she saw we are 4 people no towels nothing. Management should take care to give some respect to customers.

Sorry for the inconvenience! You stayed in the heart of the Hollywood (in Los Angeles) at all locked, safe Historical 2 stars hotel's private room for 226usd for 2nights for 4 people which makes "28usd" per night for per person! We generally provide extra 2 towels and extra soaps for our guests unless we have temporary shortage. This is a historical hotel with AC system for cooling/heating as the most of the Californians prefer. Thank you for the contribution. Your input will be taken into consideration.

This is a smelly, dirty, stinky place to stay. There is an odor throughout the halls of the hotel vip and inside the VIP rooms as well. This place also does not allow free parking in an area that should and even if you pay for parking people who don’t have a parking pass will still park there and their friends. So this smelly VIP hotel is also shady and will ask for a cash only incidentals and honestly that’s not right to only offer to take cash instead of plastic. The robin a heavy Russian accent woman does came to my room and asked if I parked a car when they showed me a picture of a white Mercedes parked in the back I have a a black Mazda so theirs also more Shady stuff the tvs are cracked in my room 209 and 205 smells horribly this place is not treat you like VIP they treat you like dirt and unfortunately the places entering it smells like dirt and horrible smells don’t stay it’s a bad place to sleep at night

Sorry for the inconvenience! Sir, we have surveillance cameras throughout the Hotel, in the back and front yards. Your getting out of your room, walking down the stairs and getting into that White Mercedes was captured in the cameras. You violated the personal space and threatened the receptionist for telling nothing but what cameras show. Thank you for your contribution.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Worst support staff. Most inconsiderate other guests. Homeless everywhere and tapping on the windows in the front. Required payment before I even saw the room! I slept in my coat! Front desk was no help at 1 o’clock in the morning. Freezing cold and next-door guests television blaring all night long. I stayed one night in this dingy awful place and they still charged me for two nights stay! Don’t even think about staying here! This isn’t over people because I’m getting my second night stay reimbursed!

Dear Kellye, Sorry for the inconvenience! - We always show the room (or even change the rooms) before (or even after) the payment, upon request. 201 is a great room. We actually have repeat guests for that room. -- Unfortunately, Homelessness is the biggest issue of Los Angeles and other Big cities. Being from a small city, you might not know the issues of big cities. However, Our hotel has a great Lock-SAFETY system which can only be Unlocked by the KeyCard we give only to our guests. The hotel has Cameras through out the hotel, in the parking lot and in the front for 24/7. Our support stuff is there for help but they may not be able to respond all your expectations; like homeless people outside the hotel. We are 2 star hotel. Unfortunately, we are not able to check the maturity level of all the guests we Check in to our hotel and if they are not mature and cooperative enough; when we warn them for loud noise, smoking etc.. Thank you for your contribution.

The staff was pretty nice. The hotel itself is pretty close to the mall, so it was convenient. The carpet is very old and dirty. There is no microwave in the room. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything that goes on around you. The tv was flickering. The water from the sink never actually got hot just a little warm. My room was not cleaned and the towels were not replaced like they said it would be at all throughout my stay. You can’t control the room temperature, so it remained cold.

Hello Justin! Sorry for the inconvenience. We knock the doors at 10:40am because we need everyone check out by 11am so that the cleaning starts. We have a narrow window for cleaning because the check in starts at 3pm. You probably made more noise than hotel staffs' knocking the doors so the guests called Police to the hotel and you wanted to check out the next day. As an adult, you should know more about how noise disturb others. We appreciate your input.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is unique and quant. Right in the heart of Hollywood. Walking distance to the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Can’t beat the price. Although the room needs some TLC. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get a feel of the old style Hollywood.

Very average room in a very average hotel. Certainly nothing fancy about it. It’s old and musty. Staff was friendly. However, the location is great, right on Hollywood Boulevard where everything is. If you’re just looking for a bed to sleep in, it’ll do.
