"Room was very clean and very comfortable. Our room had a separate living room with couch & coffee table. It was nice to watch a little tv &/or eat on the couch, NOT laying in bed. Room had a wet bar type sink with refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker in between the living room & bedroom, also very convenient. We brought snacks and sandwiches so we could eat light lunches and enjoy dinners out. Beds & pillows were very nice and exceptionally comfortable for both my husband and me. I have back problems and arthritis and the bed was perfect for me & caused no aditional discomfort. I woke rested with no increase in back or other pain. Breakfast was great. Yogurt, fruit, biscuits, eggs, sausage and more & a fascinating pancake machine turning out fresh, hot, delicious pancakes at the press of a button! I was fascinated so I'm certain children would love this machine & the pancakes it made in seconds. My husband and I traveled alone, no children, but I would imagine kids would enjoy the hotel and amenities. They had fresh free cookies in the lobby . afternoons. They had a small "store" with beverages. We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. We saw the sites, museums, sound studios, etc. in and around Florence and the hotel was very convenient to most attactions we visited. We would gladly stay at this Holliday Inn Express, Florence, again if in the area. Oh, they also have a heated indoor pool on the first floor but we stayed too busy to swim, sadly. Next time!"

"The room was clean. Check-in and check-out were easy and quick. The room was warm when we checked in around 10 PM. So, it took a while to cool the room down. We only needed it for a shower and a bed, arriving late and leaving early the next morning."

"Excellent location. Many restaurants in the area as well as a Kroger and Walmart under 1/2 mile. Very quiet location, easy parking. Super clean. Breakfast is Southern. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage patties, links, and hash browns. And also waffles. Comfortable bed and great pillows! Lots of Cable channels. Nice staff. I will stay here in a heartbeat the next time Im in the area."

"This is the worst place I have ever stayed at from the smell of rat urine in the air conditioner to bugs on the floor dead bugs in the floor and in the window seal to sticky dirty floors and a nasty bathtub. Honestly, I should have taken pictures so that I could post on here. The owner also told me that he had to have a $20 cash deposit upon arrival which the website said nothing about and then when I went to leave and it was about 10 minutes after 11 because I dozed back off after getting everything ready this morning he told me that it was a late checkout that I could not have my money back. I’m taking back by this. This was the worst place ever 10 out of 10. Absolutely do not recommend. Don’t do it just don’t do it. The TV didn’t work either so there was really no distraction. Don’t go there. "
