"The hotel is about a 10 minute drive to Hofn but the views are absolutely breathtaking, the hotel is clean and comfortable and has a bar and restaurant in case you don’t want to drive to Hofn. "

"The tent is comfortable, has power, towels, a heater and is comfortable and secure. There are bathrooms with free showers. We couldn't figure out if we had to pay for parking or not and the owner doesn't respond to questions from the day of check-in on so we can only assume we were ok. We didn't experience midges or lineups or a lack of toilet paper like other people. We did experience rude travelers who arrived at midnight and made a ruckus through the night and into the morning but that is the luck of the draw when camping, unfortunately. It was a fun experience. "

"Our family loved this stay. Beautiful cabin with lots of spaces to spread out, gorgeous views. Ready access to local sites with a car. 20min to Hofn, about 1 hour to the glacier lagoon area. Hiking right there. Very relaxing, we stayed 3 nights I could have stayed longer!"
