Great place to stay be it for a night or a couple. Room was clean, staff very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was an added bonus. Highly recommended despite the ongoing renovations.

Great hotel and wonderful staff, Heather.
My stay was wonderful. Heather at the front desk was very helpful and patient with me. I was traveling by myself and She made my stay feel comfortable and safe. She was very personal and accommodating. You are very lucky to have her as an employee. The hotel is centrally located so its a great place to stay.

Nice location, helpful staff. Under some remodeling and there were some things not quite finished or ready but nothing that inhibited the stay at all. Still had a comfortable night

Nice stay
Came into town for the night to see our kids, bed was comfortable, room was clean, AC worked great! Breakfast was okay, not great but okay. Morning crew was very nice.

Great stay at this hotel. Breakfast was included and was very good. Ladies helping with breakfast were helpful and courteous. Location is very convenient.

Terrible service
We complained about very loud dogs barking that could be heard even standing in the hallway and we were not even offered to change room. The front desk didn’t even bother to offer any options so we decided to check out after just about an hour of checking in.

Dear Benjamin, We would have gladly have moved you to a different room had you told the front desk even after being in your room for 6 hours. We did not have any guests that had a pet. We checked our security cameras and walked the hallways after you checked out and found no noise coming from the area where your room was. A great place to stay in Kilgore.
As of July 2023 this hotel was in the middle of a renovation. The indoor pool and hot tub/spa were closed. The king size bed was very comfortable. Overall decor was a bit dated. Functional but as mentioned, the renovation was underway so not sure what the plans for the rooms were, The windows on the main level reception area had mostly failed. Condensation between the panes that clearly showed the need to replace them. The carpets and flooring were in good condition throughout. The bedding was lightweight requiring us to ask for an extra blanket as the bed was three feet away from the air conditioner which needed to run to keep the rest of the room habitable during 100 degree weather. The bathroom was clean but the bath towels were thin. They got the job done but were soaked when you were finished. The staff was amazing. Very accommodating. The included breakfast was prepared fresh each morning. It was the same each day but I guess that is okay.

The staff was nice . The pool was not open and their website didn’t say that . The hotel was dated . The mattress on the pull out sofa was uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in it .

When I got to my room it smelled like cigarette smoke, and the of my lights didn’t work. I was also missing a set of curtains on my window. the second day I came back to the hotel the lobby was closed off with no way to get to elevator and I was told to take the stairs. there was also an employee, she worked the front desk saturday morning and she was so rude to the other staff. Also, the smoking can is right near the front door, so at one point my daughter and I were walking inside and had to walk through a cloud of smoke. Terrible.

The building facilities were very well kept. Staff excellent. Only issue was finding out how to get back to the hotel after dark. The gps wasn’t able to identify the feeder driveways well enough to overcome a lack of lighting. You could see the building but not how to get to it the fast moving traffic. A lighted sign at the road would take care of the issue
