"We only have 5+ remarks for our stay! The host was terrific...nice and very responsive. The property is an oasis of beautifully manicured nature. It is a large piece of property that is secure, private and well taken care of. It was like camp for the children between being able to safely roam freely, ride provided bikes, utilize the pool/climbing structure/trampoline and more! The house is fantastic and really well built. Lots of great open space with wonderful natural light and huge windows....

"We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay."

"Lovely traditional French cottage. Everything we needed for our stay. There was a little confusion with the rooms as the listing stated 3 bedroom and also 4 bedrooms but said sleeps 8. So we were confused. However when we got there there was 4 bedroom. Really spacious rooms. Thanks for a lovely stay."

"A excellent little place right in the middle of bourbourg, I found it quite convenient having travelled into Calais by ferry quite late in the evening, this was a quick drive from Calais, the place isn't well signed so it's easy to miss but they texted me a picture of the hotel beforehand so I found It with relative ease, the check in and check out process was easy, tidy little room ideal for one or two travellers, tidy clean bathroom with a nice shower, overall a great stay. "Although the property is tired looking it has everything you need ( apart from a hair dryer or Iron) , the bed was very comfortable and the room a decent size. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the continental breakfast of which there was plenty. The staff are lovely and with the help of google translate we got by. "Lovely stay at this hotel. Chose primarily due to its proximity to Dunkirk Terminal as a stop off on our return to UK. Chateau style was delightful. Welcomed by the receptionist and shown amenities which includes a pool,restaurant and bar. Room was small but clean and nicely decorated. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. I would stay again. "
