Hot Tub~Theater~Game Room~Historic Home~5 min to Acadia Park~Dogs welcome
10/10 Excellent
"The overall stay was excellent. Communication from the host was prompt and helpful. Check in and check out processes were straightforward and enumerated well. The home itself is right on the main drag, but quiet, especially given the age of the building. It has all of the charms you might expect from a home/business that had been built in the mid 1800s.There were tons of places to sleep, including the whole third floor, a bedroom on the second level with the kitchen and living area, and multiple sleeping options on the first floor, which was also the main entertainment area. Our children very much enjoyed the shuffleboard, air, hockey, and the theater room. The hot tub and charming backyard area were lovely. The location is convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, as well as other regional attractions. This is a great option for a family, or group of families, who want somewhere to stay that isn’t in the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but still close enough to everything there is to do regionally. Family home on private dead end road five minute walk to Acadia National Park
8/10 Good
"Excellent house, very spacious and clean. A few constructive criticism comments would make the stay perfect! we didn’t get checkin instructions so had to sit in driveway for 30 min calling and texting the homeowners to get code. The basement had a very strong chemical smell (recently cleaned carpets?) so we didn’t use the Bsmt bedrooms. No garbage bags or toilet paper but they dropped some off after requesting. Beds comfortable. Coffee maker broken. The main bathroom window needs a shade or curtain to block view from neighbors. Just a few tweaks and this would be the perfect rental!! Thank you for a nice stay. "
