"A beautiful place to stay. Everything was very neat and tidy. It is just a little remote so stop at a grocery store about 30 minutes away. You will not want to leave just to eat. There is a mini-kitchen and bonus a BBQ. Loved the rocking chairs on the porch. The only negative really is that the bed springs are really noisy and the mattress is not all that comfy. A great place to sit back and relax,"

"We booked for two nights to attend a friends wedding. The property was very well kept. Upon arrival we were greeted with homemade cookies and a welcome note from the owners. Everything was there that we needed, lots of towels and extra linens. Heat pump came in handy as it was cold, for June. The downstairs shower was amazing. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to spend their summer or winter vacation."

He is a lovely human being, who seems to genuinely enjoy people. We were very proud to share the beauty of Nova Scotia with our California friends, especially the beauty of the human landscape (-thank you, Colin!). During our stay, the weather was chilly, overcast, rainy, and foggy, but, the warmth of this property’s owner, and the simple, yet, charming accommodations he offers, will bring us back again.- next time, for a longer, sunnier, summer stay."
