"It was a nice place to stay. The only complaint I could think of is the woman who checked us in was unfriendly and I got the impression that there were other things she wished she was doing bedsides her job. She was all business, but not very friendly. Other than that it went well."

"Great location, right by the water and by a bike path. There seems to be a water view from every room. Friendly staff. They helped make sure I had a room that didn’t require me to climb any stairs since I have an injury. Good breakfast options. Quiet room. I’d stay here again if I’m in Port Orchard. There’s also plenty of free parking and you can park on either side of the building."

"Property grew on us. When we arrived at 1:30 we were told we could check in early for $20 or wait another hour and a half. Out of principle, I opted to wait because clearly the room was ready, it was just a money grab. I don’t blame the workers bc I’m sure they are just following procedure. The rooms are clean, we used the kitchen to cook every morning, we used the grill on the roof next door, and really enjoyed the accessibility to the ferry. The parking is not free…we chose to park across the street most of the time. Overall, it was a good stay!"
Seattle is a ferry ride away. Walk or Drive on and be in Seattle in 20 minutes

"Wonderful stay. Austin is a great host and very communicative. Close to so many different things to do. You can hop on the ferry and go to Seattle or Vashon Island. Our dog enjoyed the large yard."

"Lionel visited the first day to answer questions and to ensure all was as expected. He answered texts promptly and helped with answering traffic flow questions. Very friendly but not intrusive. The property was everything it is described to be with the exception of the many blackberry shrubs at the back. Great for picking, if you have little ones, they would probably love the activity. Just watch out for the thorns. Our grandson grew gills. Cool water did not bother him at all, but I on the other hand, was able to grow half an inch of hair on my head. Seems like every part of my body was trying to find a warmer higher ground for the few minutes it took me to acclimate.Kitchen is well stocked with cooking gadgets and vessels. Grilling in the back yard was enjoyable with a shady area and lawn chairs. Quiet area with near access to ferries and other points of interest. Had a really relaxing and enjoyable time. Would definitely stay here again."
