We stay here often when visiting family. The host has always been great to work with and the cabins have always been available and clean when we arrived.
Was very impressed with this little gem of a property. The location just off the road was nice. The wildlife was abundant. I look forward to staying here again when there isn't as much snow.
This was a very convenient location. The cabin had a very cozy interior with all the amenities and then some. Great if you want to visit Ontario National Forest during the day.
This is the perfect getaway spot. My wife and I stay here several times throughout the year. It's great in all seasons. The host is super responsive, the cabin is pet-friendly, and the property has plenty of trails that keep our dogs active. Its also one of the best values around.
Everything was absolutely fantastic. Cabin was cozy and clean and the property was absolutely stunning. There is so much to do and see withing a 30 minute drive or you can hide away in your cabin and on the property. We loved it!
We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend and it was just as great as our previous two visits of the summer. My wife and I love everything about these cottages, and our dogs appreciate the walking paths in the woods. It's off the grid life with all the amenities. We have already booked our winter stay over the holidays and can't wait to get back.

The hospitality and friendliness of both the owners of the property and the property caregivers is outstanding. They truly go out of their way to consider all of the wants and needs of their guests.
All of this on top of the beauty of the surrounding area and having the convenience of many lakes to fish as well as being close to Michigan, and this place leaves little to be desired.
My 22 y/o daughter and I were in need of somewhere to stay while hunting in the Iron River area and found this gem. Perfect location (for us), clean and quiet, and the kitchen made it perfect for cooking meals and saving some money. We WILL definitely be back!! Thank you, Mark

Brian was very accommodating for our stay. The cabin was move-in ready! There was a notebook with maps of the property, local restaurants and sites. The property has walking trails that were meticulously maintained and had a wealth of photo opps, including mushrooms, birds, native flora and more. I highly recommend staying at Brule River Cabins!
Cute and cozy little cabin. Very clean, comfortable bed and tiny. Just what we needed for hiking with our dogs. It is close to the highway, but not a busy road. Talked with the neighbor and he was great!
The cabin was everything we hoped for. It was set up with all the conveniences one would need! Property was very well kept up and caretaker was friendly and a hard worker! I was there with my sister, want to come back with my husband next time. Thank you for a great experience Brian!!!..
Long weekend with rental of both cabins. Exactly what we needed. Rustic and perfect. Caretaker and Sarge, his golden, are both very friendly. Greatful for the A/C. Coffee by the river each morning watching 2 deer cross, walk on the trails on the property.

Cozy and comfortable for sleeping on our short stay. Concern with property condition was due to flooring - daughter got a large sliver in her foot while wearing socks, then I noticed my socks were catching the rough edges of the floor boards too, so we all wore shoes after that.
