"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud....

"The Rooms were clean, and the staff were excellent. The space is still shared with other guests, next time we will just take the entire space as it was a little uncomfortable with other guests there in the other rooms. Especially because we had children. The only negative I would give is the pin on expedia was placed wrong so we kept getting incorrect directions from google, so make sure to contact the person that the hosts sends information for in the email for directions. We missed that email...

"Everyting they say was a lie The washer machin IS BROKEN The AC do not work There is a home less guy that pass by showing is his his private parts TheDryer do not work to dry cloths . The pots and pans are so discussed . i was afraid to cook out of it . it say the entier house .. But there was pleople living there, please do not rent this place , there was no toilet paper , no shampoo or conditioner And so much more"

AND as if that wasn't enough, the host tried to make us feel guilty because he messed up the listing & wasn't making much money. "The location was spot on. Wasn’t crowed wasn’t noisy. We had a rental car more than enough parking when we came back from exploring most of what beautiful Portland had to offer. I am an amateur photographer, so Frenchman Cove , Blue Lagoon, Winnifred Beach Reach Falls .. you get me !!!! They got explored. We didn’t have to worry about about driving back home late. 10 - 15min from most local spots."

"The property is perfectly located next to blue lagoon and the resort is beautiful. It could use some maintenance was a bit dusty, needed some refurbishing. There wasn’t any toiletries as the bookings saiid or the free boat ride so that should be updated. It is hard to get in contact with someone on site when needed. There is someone that pops in from time to time but no number to call. That would be nice to have. TVs don’t connect to wifi or have channels either. All in all it was a nice spot a/c works great, bed is comfy, the view is great, very welcoming and private. I would definitely go back"
