Lovely building, clean, relaxed atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful. In rooms would benefit from walk showers for safer,easier use. Also problem that water also goes on to floor under screen when using over bath shower in both rooms booked

The room we were given couldn’t quite get temperature control down, and it felt as though it was built as an afterthought. The staff was very welcoming and polite. A very clean facility.

The property is historic and elegant. The full English breakfast in the ballroom is delicious. The renovated rooms are compact, but very nice.

Theatreland Stay
Very nice stay.Staff great.Pool out of commission due to company running it leaving without notice. Alternatives provided but a bit of palava getting passes to access. Staff worked hard to achieve this.

Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. Breakfast was spot on. Although two lattes ordered independently were at best tepid. The room wasn't worth the price. When I first turned on the TV, it didn't work, after looking around I found all the leads pushed down the back of the cabinet. The power cable was live. We switched off the AC/Heater after an hour as it made a constant loud whining noise. The towel rail was not connected to the heater system, but the sign above it said it was hot. The bed, which I believe was a King size, had a duvet on it that did not touch both sides of the bed simultaneously. After the second night there seemed to be a very very light coating of dust in the room, that had appeared overnight. I think the room had been recently refurbed and maybe needed re checking. Prior to our stay, we had sent an email telling you it was our wedding anniversary and we would appreciate a nice view - my wife thought this was a silly thing to request as if we're in London, what else could the view be, well that request was ignored and my email not acknowledged as we had a view of the hotel lobby roof.

Housekeeping did some strange things didn’t replenish water every day and removed a bathrobe that had been used left hanging on the bathroom door. No replacement We got a call from housekeeping every afternoon I was sleeping she just burst in v strange snd yes I should have left a do not disturb Gluten free breakfast very poor only cold options but we hoped bacon beans snd eggs were ok no GF sausage or potato Really comfy bed and apart from the above we enjoyed our stay

The pool was out of order which wasn't communicated before arrival and no real reason given. I was offered free wifi as an apology. I mean £400 per night doesn't even get you wifi. Terrible dated rooms, over priced and will never stay there again.

The staff were very helpful and professional. The area was very close to many good restaurants. One night there was a party downstairs that was very noisy until midnight with loud music but other than that very quiet and very clean. Overall a very good property.

This was such a beautiful and cozy hotel to stay at. We had the best trip. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was large and everything was very clean. I like to have ice with my water so the hotel would kindly deliver an ice bucket when I called the front desk, since there are no ice machines for guests to access. We were excited to use the pool but sadly it was much smaller and dingier than the pictures portray. The pool looked dirty and the room was dimly lit and very dated. Other than the pool area everything in this hotel was wonderful and we absolutely loved our stay. We will be back someday for sure!

Excellent stay
As we had a Theatre performance booked, the hotel was located perfectly and close to most West End performances. We had a great stay, and would highly recommend the Monkey bar- impeccable service. Herman was incredible, his energy, knowledge and enthusiasm was outstanding- a true credit to the hotel. We were also served breakfast by a lady I believe called Katie? She was excellent too. Overall very pleased with our stay. Cleanliness was exceptional too- we stayed in room 211 and it was spotless.

Special once in a lifetime trip with young grandchildren. Meticulously planned timings and booked the Be Our Guest afternoon tea so we eat and then get ready at the hotel in a relaxed setting for our visit to the theatre commencing at 17:30. Our suite was not ready until 15:50 that meant we were rushed and stressed in order to get ready in time for the theatre. Staff appeared unconcerned and detached when we asked when room would be ready. “In about 20 minutes” we were advised at around 15:05. We were advised to use the executive lounge that we had fortunately paid for access to. 20 minutes would have been a disappointment but a further 30 minutes for young children to have to wait in anticipation impacted on our preparations and well-being and tainted our impression of the holiday and the Waldorf. It’s a shame because we have had previously enjoyed stays with you and are now a little put off about returning☹️. There was no remote for TV in bathroom and no soap in the dispenser in the lavatory adjoining the lounge in the king suite we stayed in.

Found this property on a whim for our family of five and it was perfect! Breakfast was included and we were greeted by staff every time we came and went in and out of the hotel. A couple of them knew us by name after a couple of days. Their service was excellent. Beds comfortable. Heated towels in the bathroom. The locations was awesome being within walking distance of many rest and shops and only a few minutes walk from Covenant Station—a straight shot from Heathrow on the tube. We would stay there again!

Property was okay. It was clean, the door man was great and the rest of the staff was okay too. No sheets, only a comforter, and it was very hot all the time in our room. The bathtub is dangerous, and very high to step over. (BTW, I’m 6’ and semi athletic)
