Pros: Convenient location- close to shops, restaurants, and underground. Rooms are clean with great views of the city. The 2 restaurants have wrap-around views, trendy interesting decor, great service and good food.
Cons: Service for the hotel guests. There is no concierge and virtually no lobby- just a check-in desk on the 11th floor. The rooms are cute, but definitely not luxurious or substantial. As was mentioned in another review, the bathrooms have glass walls with a thin-curtain that you can see through- odd. There are no connecting rooms- which was disappointing as we were traveling with our college-aged children over the holidays. We chose this hotel specifically for the views of the city as we wanted to watch the famed New-Year's Eve fireworks from our room (Our flight to the states was early the next day.) Beware- we paid extra for a "city view" but it turns out only the "sky-line" views face the London Eye- the direction of the fireworks display. We asked to move, and even though skyline views were listed on Trip Advisor and Expedia, we were told there were no rooms available. We asked again the following day, and were advised that the only room with a partial view of the skyline was on the 14th floor and that it would be very loud due to the New Year's Eve party at the restaurant. We didn't move and didn't see the fireworks. The sound-proofing is atrocious and we were up until 2 am clearly hearing the tunes from the DJ 2 floors above us. Would NOT recommend.
