A great option if arriving off an international flight late at night. Easy to get to, welcoming, comfortable bed, clean and in good condition. Great to have the buffet breakfast option too.

We had a late flight into Gatwick North, so the location was perfect for this. It is located in the terminal so didn't have to leave the building. Big plus. Reception were very nice and very quick check in. We had a family room for 2 adults and 1 child. Thank goodness we didn't have anymore people in than that as the rooms are tiny, especially when you have your suitcases in tow! The carpet was all ripped, which made it feel really drab and not what I would expect considering how much we paid. The air con was really lame too and barely cooled the room. Again, I might expect this in a really budget hotel, but not something that carries the Hilton brand. Breakfast was fine. It was included in the price. They have express checkout so that was very convenient. All in all an average stay, but not worth the amount we paid for it

The air conditioning in the room blew out hot air all night and we could not turn on cold air. Mattress also very uncomfortable unfortunately. A terrible nights sleep before an early flight was not what we had hoped for or expected.

The hotel is in the north terminal building and we found it relatively easily. The room was comfortable and we heard no noise whatsoever.

Terrible directions of how to get there. There is no drop off area, only way to get a vehicle near is to go into the short stay car park which is £10 for first hour. The only hotel in England they’ve ever demanded passport or driving licence of the person who booked, so if you book this hotel for someone else, make sure you put the name of one of the people staying. The room was nice though, clean, had a nice shower, it is very convenient for the NORTH terminal, and is right next to the easyJet check in desks, expensive for the convenience though

Thank you for choosing the Hampton by Hilton London Gatwick and for taking the time and trouble to leave a review of your experience with us.I am very sorry that you felt the directions to our hotel were terrible, from the short stay carpark there are numerous signs indicating our location, however, I will ensure that Gatwick Airport Management are made aware of your comments at our next meeting with them. It is not clear from your review who you received directions from, we have a reception desk which is manned 24hours and our team would always be very happy to assist you with directions to our location via the phone.With regards the parking, there are several options open to you, you can be dropped off at the designated drop off zone or park in the short stay car park and walk the short distance through to us. We have designated bays available for our guests in the short stay car park no 6, but a charge is payable to NCP and is managed by Gatwick Airport.As we are located within the North Terminal building we are, according to Gatwick Airport Police strict security rules and regulations required to see all guests identification, either a passport or driving licence before the guest can be checked in. Brilliant hotel, it’s works so well. So clean, warm and silent! We had the best sleep. Breakfast is great and available from first thing. Cannot recommend enough!
