this hotel is in a good location for anywhere in london on the tube we had breakfast 1 day at only £20 per person good value buffet plenty of choice there was an odour in the corridors at sometimes hotel could do with some touch ups in certain places although i would stay here again and reccomend

Not terrible. A no frills hotel in a great location. Nothing special but it is very reasonably priced. Large property with lots of rooms! If it’s a super cheap price for your dates it’s probably worth it!

Reception area is has a good vibe and is cool. However if you want a decent nights sleep you may want to choose elsewhere. There was what seemed to be a party going on on our floor at 1am on a Monday night and it took the hotel staff 45 minutes to sort it out. Not a great experience and does not represent value for money

I used to love this property, and have stayed there many times over the years. The food wasn't great. When walking to the room, it almost smelled like a dead mouse. That wasn't the bad part. The room was exactly what I had expected. During my stay a water pipe burst, and no hot water. I understand that things like that happen. I took a very cold shower and went about my day. When I got back it smelled like sewer gas. It was awful. I was offered a room change, but the entire hotel smelled. I checked out a day early.

Fantastic location and modern hotel
Such a fabulous, modern, clean hotel in a great location for Winter Wonderland and shopping down Oxford Street. We were pleasantly surprised when one of the rooms was upgraded and then mentioned that it was my birthday so they upgraded the 2nd room & also sent a bottle of fizz, popcorn and chocolate upto my room - what a lovely touch. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The bar was fantastic, with live music daily. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Had a great re visit and although the brand has changed, despite have a much smaller room compared to last year, we still had a great stay!

I really wanted to like this hotel. It was peak holiday season and i had accepted that i chose the busiest time of the year to viait London. Despite the queues everywhere, a receptionist noticed i needed help without me saying and helped me get checked-in earlier since a room was ready and so we could drop off our luggage and see the sights. Great start! The room was nice enough. Clean and had a great tub in the spacious bathroom. I ordered room service, food was okay except the buffalo wings were dry from being overcooked and waaaay too salty. Bacon & Cheese fries were excellent. Food arrived within a reasonable timeframe. Belly full and tired from all the walking, we went to sleep early. We wake up abruptly to the piercing sound of the fire alarm but there was no audio recording or visual cues to let people know it was an alarm and what to do next. I poked my head out in the hallway and saw others do the same, all of us confused on what to do. Made me think of guests with hearing impairments and their safety. For almost 10 minutes my friend and i didn't know whether we needed to evacuate until finally we decided to put on clothes and leave. 5 minutes later, we finally see hotel staff say we need to evacuate via the stairs. It seemed the not all the hotel staff were clear on the protocol. The staff kept directing people away from the hotel and into the street. The drill lasted in total maybe 25-30 min. No apology, no explanation from any staff. Very weird and concerning.

We immediately contacted the London Fire Brigade for a thorough investigation, and they provided the all-clear shortly thereafter.After conducting a comprehensive debrief with our senior hotel management, we want to assure you that the evacuation was conducted in accordance with the correct number of Fire Marshals in designated areas, following approved fire strategy and evacuation procedures. We sincerely apologise if it seemed otherwise.Your feedback is invaluable, and we appreciate your understanding of the importance of fire safety at our hotel. Family stay with 2 adults and 2 children. We were treated very well and the facilities available were appropriate. The room was perfect for what we needed and clean. The restaurant facilities for breakfast were exceptional and lots of choice was offered. Tea, coffee and refreshments were in the room at nno extra cost. Towels, flannels, and soap/shower gel/shampoo etc was also included. We all felts very safe, and comfortable
