We arrived into London early morning after travelling for 24 hours with a 6 and 7 year old!! We made our way to the hotel from the airport and the staff were incredible, taking our luggage, settling us in the lobby lounge with coffee and hot chocolate. 10 minutes later they let us know that we could check in to our room (well before normal checkin time). This really made the start of our trip. We had a quad room and it was perfect for us. Enough room, comfy beds, clean and a big bathroom. Awesome location right next to Hyde park and on the tour bus route. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved our stay at Signature Townhouse! Shruti at the front desk was most helpful! Allowed us to check in a little early and also being able to store our bags after check out was so nice! Breakfast in the morning was really good. Staff was always so friendly. Great location near Underground as well as several great restaurants. Thank you!

Negatives: Room in basement - little light. £50 held on card for security - 12days for a return (and on international card so extra fee) Paper thin walls - found out far too much about the girls' life drama next door. Room size very small. Sink blocked. Shower soap empty.

Disappointing stay
Got into room late at night to have the windows open and a smell of smoke in the room thinking people smoking outside have made it smell but even two days later the room still smelt. Also being first floor on the front of the hotel it was super noisy with people out the front of the hotel Room also had old clothes labels stuck quite clearly on the room so unsure how thorough the clean had been

Nice Place, but could be better
For a deluxe room the room was quite cramped with a step in the middle. The bed was not at all comfortable. The bathroom has obviously been renovated fairly recently, but the shower door was broken. One peculiarity was that there was nowhere to hang my suit. There was a hanger rail, but because the refreshments table was set up directly underneath it, there was only enough space to hang very short garments.

There is no such a sofa bed. We got two beaten up cot beds laid on the ground. The metal frame and springs are awful, the mattress was only a few inches tall. Not enough cushion. Very uncomfortable! The room is not soundproof. You could hear people from other rooms talking. The area is nice, but be prepared to have an uncomfortable night, specially the ones on the sofa.

Cheap and cheerful great location for Hyde park
Receptionist was miserable and gave us no information on arrival. No information book in room so called reception to ask about the hotel's restaurant and bar, she said there isn't one and advised me to get food from an online food ordering service. Tried to order but a code was required which I didn't know so had to call reception again which was a job in itself as the phone in the room had no reception button on it so had to use my mobile phone and Google their number. Eventually got local food delivered to reception but not very happy as the advertised on site bar and restaurant was one of the reasons we chose to stay here. Room needs attention: chipped paint, missing bathroom tile and broken window glass. Bed was small but comfy, room was small but had everything you needed. I could hear the lift going up and down as room was very close to it but otherwise it was quiet.

Good Stay! We will be there again
It was a good stay. The location might look a bit far from the busy area on the map, but there, you can take a tram for 5 minutes to be in the crowd. So, the location is good and quiet. We had an issue in the room, but the hotel management did a professional job. They changed our room, offered us a free breakfast, and 50% off the next visit. Thanks to everyone there. Recommended.

Room was extremely small and made it very difficult to get dressed etc. The water also cut out mid way through a shower. Also the door key cards are somewhat unreliable at times so you need to go back down to reception to refresh the card - not ideal if you have just taken bags etc up to your floor.

Nothing was unique but the location was good. Service at breakfast was poor. There were not enough large plates, and the buffet layout was not efficient. I could not even lift the very large jug of milk. The wifi was disappointing. It blocked streaming services.

My clients had two rooms at this hotel in which combined they were robbed of gold jewelry and over $2750 USD from their guest rooms by the hotel staff. Do NOT stay here!!!

Pleasant Hotel in Need of TLC
The hotel is conveniently located to bus and subway station. Public areas are nicely kept, the breakfast is buffet good, and the staff is friendly. The disappointment was the room/suite, which did not fit the need for a couple traveling with two children and needed some TLC. The entry area that contained a pull out sofa was small and dark. Once the sofa was pulled out, there was no space for anything but to pass into the second room through a hallway. The bedroom itself was spacious, the bathroom nice but mold was showing through the grout in the shower. The closet had plenty of hanging space but no shelves or drawers, so the four of us lived out of the suitcases. The carpet in the room was old and used, the floor cracked in the hall between the two rooms when walked upon. Our stay was nevertheless pleasant, as we roamed the city and minimized the time spent in the room.

Very Disappointing experience Tips left for staff but room not serviced. Tips were removed by someone. ( Many guests on our tour had same problem ) Asked front desk for taxi to Buckingham Palace, private car showed up not Taxi or Uber, driver was very rude and charged double what a Black cab would charge. Breakfast not very appealinng . Lots of Cigarette butts at front of property and very unkept looking. The staff did not speak English. Suggest you give this Faulty Towers Hotel a MISS

Not worth it.
The place was just okay for the price, well not really. We did book last minute, but the amenities in the room were certainly not at the star level listed. We also had to wait to check in, room was not ready when we arrived. We forgave this as we were traveling in a busy season. However when we arrived back in the evening after being out, we had asked for ice to cool our beverages (water) since it had been quite warm for London. We were told five minutes and ice would be sent up, no ice, no call, nothing.

The hotel was ok. I think for the price, you can find better. The front desk staff were very polite and professional. However, I was very disappointed with the the cleanliness of the room. There was pink and black mold in the shower, hairs on my pillowcase and stains on the rugs. Also, be careful if you arrange service for airport transportation through the main desk. We ended up paying 30 pounds more than what we were quoted. AND, this company did NOT accept visa payment - we had to go into the airport to pull out more cash on our way out of the country. Caveat emptor.

Last minute overnight in London, basic hotel with no hotel amenities but I had a large corner room that was comfortable for the price, the location is quiet and nice, close to Lancaster Gate tube (5-10mins) reception staff are excellent, great good value base for London, didn’t have breakfast

Woeful service
Oh my goodness me. Welcomed us to front desk. Informed us of an upgrade. GREAT. Well, no. The hotel had NO heating IN DECEMBER and the in-room system did not work. The hotel had no HOT WATER and guests were complaining constantly on the reception phone when I went to complain. This was not rectified over two days' stay even though there were promises that it would be done and then lies that it HAD been done, when it had not. I had to have a cold shower on day 2 out of desperation. I demanded two heaters for the large room, which barely took the edge off the deep cold, even left on all night. The staff feigned concern and managers were never available. Emails to them have been ignored even to-date. I am disputing charges and cannot get a response from them about that either. The breakfast was ok. The look and furnishings were nice. Such a shame, as such potential for all kinds of reasons.

Not as it used to be
This is my second visit to this hotel. I had a much better experience last time I stayed here. I booked 3 club rooms for 2 nights, one for me and two for friends, same as my last booking. The room I stayed in was next to the elevator so every time you could hear the noise. On top of that there was a constant strong humming sound non stop which gave me a headache. I couldn’t sleep so I went to the reception to see what we could do. The man was kind to check for another room but the only “club” room was at the basement. On my previous stay the room had an espresso maker but now I was told it was only for the executive rooms ( the other one I booked had one). The room also needs renovation and the bathroom could be cleaner. Overall not a pleasant stay and not what I expected from a 4star hotel.

There was no hot water in the shower so this was fixed, and then the next day the water was cold again. The location of the hotel we good, and staff very friendly.
