nice little hide away from the downtown Lome business district. Lovely setting and very information place to relax and let the world go by.

Far away from the city

The hotel is around 30 min from the center of Lomé (it's in Baguida) and hasn't been much maintained. Internet connexion is very slow and most times, quasi inexistent. Food at the hotel is not the top. The only good side of the hotel is that there is a swimming pool and the view is quiet pleasant.

This hotel was great for the price: I had good drinks and food, a nice beach breeze, a pool, air conditioned rooms, and a safe neighborhood to walk for a collective taxi.

Pleasant, restufl and great food

I was at the Alize 6 days. I will stay again the next time I am in Lome area. While the breakfast was very skimpy and NO fruit offered the food in general was excellent. Great Salads and grilled fish and chicken. Good internet throughout entire stay. I had to go into town each day for work but what I spent on Taxi's and the alize was still much less than a hotel in town. Plus the balcony, the desk on the balcony and the one in the room, adequate chairs, clean pool and really peaceful situation more than compensated for the ride. I also walked to several other Restaurants and market and found the little town pleasant. Knowing French would have been an asset but again, I made do without any problems.

You ´ll find very friendy and polite people in Togo. Hotel Alize is nice with a pool, good food and working wifi, which is not general in Togo. It s far from everything, which is a major problem. French speaking would be good for the hotel guest.
