Comfort Inn Missoula near University

"We needed a truck repair and had to make last minute plans on our road trip. We stopped in Missoula for a night. I was super bummed and just wanted a place to sit by the river and have a drink. We drove by and were blown away by the nice patio next to the river. It was the perfect place to spend an evening! We were also traveling with 2 dogs. After 6 years of “dog vacations” this is the best dog friendly hotel we have been at. We always travel with blankets for the dogs to sleep on but eventually they get full of dog hair. Here they provide you with a nice blanket for your dog! Why isn’t this the standard???? Dogs were also given treats with lots of recommendations for where to go with your dog. There is also a “dog park island” across the river from the hotel. We didnt go over there but it looked like a very nice spot. You can tell someone at this hotel is thinking outside of the box and looking for little amenities to make their hotel standout. The breakfast was another example of this with really good real eggs and even grab and go yogurt with fruit and granola cups. This was the best breakfast on our 2 week trip."

"From the cordial greeting to the very clean room, and comfortable bed, to the largest, nicest refrigerator/freezer I've had on this trip (2 months so far), it was a very nice overnight stay, and I highly recommend Brooks!"

"We were stuck not having a room in Missoula. Another hotel recommended this place. It was very minimal but that was ok with us. The bed was comfortable and it had a full size fridge. There was no breakfast but did have coffee. It was under $100 for a bed. That was exactly what we were looking for. It is conveniently located."

"We stayed in the upper lodge. It’s a nice place, dinner was fine, and we enjoyed the campfire afterwards. Bed was comfy and shower good. I didn’t like totally hearing the next-door neighbor’s movie at night and the fact that you couldn’t turn off the porch light to better see the great stars. Also, we never managed to lock the door from the outside, and we couldn’t open the window for fresh air because the latch was high and a table was in front of the window. Finally, know that there isn’t easy access to the river right at the lodge."
