Hotel is very nice. Our rooms were great, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was more for German taste, not so great for American taste.

unfreundliches und unmotiviertes Personal, beim einchecken um 17.30 Uhr Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt, nur eine Box mit einem Kuvert und der Zimmmerkarte ohne weitere Informationen. Hotel ansonsten ganz OK, zentral gelegen, Altstadt ca . 5 min. zu Fuß erreichbar, Fahrräder können in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden. Frühstück OK. Für einen Kurztripp trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Schade fanden wir, dass die angepriesene Bar bereits um 20:45 Uhr geschlossen hatte. Das wurde uns im Vorfeld nicht mitgeteilt. Der Empfang beim Einchecken war jedoch professionell und sehr freundlich.

Das Hotel Achat ist ein gutes Hotel in bester Lage. Man ist zu Fuß in 2 Minuten am Mainufer und in 3 Minuten in der kleinen Innenstadt.

Das Zimmer war im großen und ganzen in Ordnung. Vordergründig sauber, in den Ecken eher etwas verstaubt… An was das Hotel aber dringend arbeiten müsste, ist der Satelliten-Empfang ihrer Fernsehprogramme. Da ging ja gar nix - das waren nur große würfelartige Pixel - und nichts zu erkennen. Zumindest bei den Privatsender. Dafür hätte ich am liebsten eine Preisminderung verlangt! …so kann man einen TV-Empfang nicht im Internet bewerben, wie das vom Hotel getan wird… oder steigt doch einfach auf eine sichere Methode um. Wie ich da war, gab es gerade eine Baustelle vor dem Eingang. Ich weiß, da kann das Hotel nichts dazu - aber vielleicht hätte man darauf achten können, dass man nur Zimmer nach hinten raus vermietet…

Problematisch war das Eichecken, weil die Reception nicht besetzt war und der Hinweiszettel, wo die Zimmerkarte zu finden war, nicht irreführend war.
