Paja offers a seamless blend of traditional breathable structures and high-end modern amenities.

The Heart of Paja: The Heritage Hearth Room
Experience the seasons from the comfort of our atmospheric Hearth Room. This unique, protected transition space stands on the site of the original 1906 forge and is designed to bring you closer to the surrounding nature. While the walls are light to maintain an airy, pavilion feel, the space is fully protected from wind and rain.

Gather around the majestic forge-inspired fireplace, bask in the warm ambient lighting, and enjoy the crisp Finnish air. For cooler evenings, integrated space heaters provide a cozy glow, making it the perfect sanctuary for late-night conversations and morning coffee—even when the weather turns brisk. Sleeping (Capacity 8):
The property features three dedicated bedrooms plus a cozy sleeping loft, all outfitted with premium linens:

Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): A quiet retreat featuring a high-end Double Bed.
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): The "Flex-Room" with two single beds that can be seamlessly joined into a Double Bed or kept separate to suit your group’s needs.
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): A charming, private room featuring two comfortable single beds.
The Sleeping Loft (Upstairs): An elevated, atmospheric nook located next to Bedroom 3, featuring two single beds—perfect for children or friends.

Wellness & Bathing: An indoor designer sauna and a secondary outbuilding housing an additional shower and toilet to ensure total comfort for large groups.

Outdoor Luxury: A massive covered living area with a fireplace and dining for 10, a terrace with a year-round heated hot tub, and a private swimming pier.

Included in your stay: linens, soft towels, standard final cleaning, and unlimited use of the hot tub and sauna.

Guest access
Guests enjoy exclusive access to Paja and its surrounding terraces and pier. While you are part of a historic working estate with other inhabited buildings, your privacy is respected. In summer, the lake is yours for swimming; in winter, we can arrange the quintessential Finnish "Avanto" (ice swimming) experience upon request.

Located in the culturally significant landscape of Karjalohja, we are surrounded by some of the purest waters in Southern Finland.

Heritage: Walk the grounds of the Immola estate and feel the history of a centuries-old farm.

Getting around
A private car is highly recommended to fully enjoy the Karjalohja region and nearby Lohja. We offer free parking on-site. While the property is accessible via bus from Lohja and Karjaa, please note that services are infrequent; we advise checking current schedules (Matkahuolto) carefully before arrival. For those looking to explore locally, the area is wonderful for cycling and rowing.
