If you go in winter, rug up very well. It was very wild and windy but beautiful and I was well rugged up with beanie, puffer jacket, wool gloves and hiking boots.

Whilst the hotel itself is a little old and dated the location is SO GOOD!
Literally a stones throw away from Southern Cross station - grab the Sky Bus and get the airport easily.
The Italian restaurant across from the hotel does a great Amatriciana pasta btw.
I was busy working so just wanted a comfy bed for the night and definitely got that - it's basic but does the job and the staff were lovely.

Communication for picking up and dropping off key was not great. I emailed twice with no reply so ended up phoning them. Other than that the property was excellent. Close to tram stop, very clean and tidy. Great views.
