Great getaway!

This place is exactly as described! Check in was smooth and we loved our stay. Nice that they offer one night stays-as a lot of cabins require two nights minimum. We’ll be back!

Nice, cozy and comfy cabin tucked in the woods.

First time visiting Hocking Hills and this was a great location. Quiet and tucked away in the woods but within minutes of all the trails. Highly recommended for anyone not quiet ready for the camp grounds in a tent but still looking for a camping experience.

Cozy cabin

We enjoyed our one night stay! Love that there are cooking utensils, plates, cups etc so we didn’t have to bring our own. Hot tub was excellent!

Everything was exactly as advertised, very happy.

Directions to the cabin and how to get in the cabin or precise. Everything was as advertised spacious, clean, and cozy. It would’ve been better if there was access to Wi-Fi.

Great cabin. wonderful location. No internet

We loved the cabin, it was comfortable and clean. Loved the Jacuzzi outside. There is no WiFi and no cellular connection in the cabin. The TV is not connected to any cables and only has some old DVDs

Short stay

Overall the cabin itself was nice and clean. We didn’t spend much time at the cabin, due to being out sightseeing. However when we did get back in the evening and spent and hour or so watching a movie the couch could be a little more comfortable. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

Family getaway granddbabies

We had great time and grand daught who is 8 love the cabin. There is no cell service. We visited old.man cave. We cooked.on grill . Had great camp fire. Granddaughter watched king kong verses godizlla. . Comfortable quite.an you can have dogs there, but we didn't take.ours.

Decent for the price

The cabin could have been cleaned better, floors could have been mopped, curtains were dusty af and I suggest if you want privacy in the hot tub bring a tarp to hang on the porch, the cabins are really close together other than that it was a good stay

Relaxing Weekend

It was a great time, my two friends and I had it only a day but we certainly made the most of it. It would relaxing for us, the cabin was really clean, there was space to cook and sit back and relax. The hot tub was wonderful! It was a great evening and I will certainly want to come back. P.S. there was no cell phone service which made it even better because there wasn’t anything to do but relax and not worry about a single thing :)

Very Relaxing!

The cabin was very clean and comfortable! I had no cell service, however I must say it was a great opportunity to unplug and reconnect with my daughter. It was conveniently closed to shopping and to the trails. My only suggestion would be to have some movies with you to watch since their is no reception or cable. I was able to purchase a couple at Wal-Mart.

Spring break trip

The oven caught fire as we preheated it & there was no fire extinguisher anywhere near by. Def would get that checked out! Other than that scary incident, we had a great stay at this lovely cabin! My children ask when can we go back!

I took my friend there as a birthday gift . I was embarrassed at how dirty the place was. Ery ite cabin, but furniture is old and the decor was minimal. I spok to the host and explained it in Detail. I really should have taken pictures.

Would not stay again

Nice location as far as close to attractions. It was a place to lay our heads after long nights on the lake and hiking but that’s about all I would say. The upstairs bed had hair all over the pillow cases so I changed them myself. The rug was gross so I also vacuumed and cleaned off the refrigerator. It had ice cream all over the front. The toilet, stove, floors and hot tub were all disgusting. I went and bought cleaners the next morning and called the number to complain about the bathroom. I left a message and they called me back. I told her there was a used tampon applicator on the bathroom floor by the toilet and it was dirty. We also had blood on the bathroom towel. She asked permission for the cleaning person to go in and take care of the bathroom. We got in late again and the bathroom was still gross. They went in and picked up the tampon applicator and that was all. Left the towel with blood and never cleaned the toilet or the floor. I had to clean it so we could use it. The hot tub was full of hair and who knows what. The shower was also full of hair. Not a great experience. The area was beautiful though. We really enjoyed the area just not cleanliness of the cabin. If it would have been clean it would have been great. Clean is what means the most to me. I don’t care about fancy I just want a clean bathroom and beds.

Good running down the sides of the stove. Not from us. We didn’t even use it.

Nice Cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was a comfortable space for our 5 person family, and our kids loved the fire pit out back. The stove only had 1 working burner, and there was quite a bit of poison ivy out back. Check in and out were an easy process.

Comfortable and cozy cottage with lovely wooded view.

We enjoyed the cabin very much. Close to all activities and secluded and quiet location. It was a perfect fit for the 5 of us. Dog friendly was a BIG plus as the pups enjoyed it as much as we did. The only issue was the stove. We like to cook and there was only 1 working burner. You may want to fix that for future guests.

There was a purple tampon behind the toilet upon arrival. The towels don't cover your body. There is not enough bed linen to sleep "6" people I would say it sleeps 4 no blankets light is dim. Heat was cold in bedroom adults.

You get what you pay for

The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. The location was ideal for hiking. The requirement of needing a 4x4 in winter, and no Wifi available, should have been detailed before booking. The water had a terrible smell, rust came out of the bathroom faucet, and the location was not adequately cleaned.

Good for price, but you get what you pay for

While the cabin is the perfect size and accommodation for a couples 1-night getaway, the inside was not fully clean. Lost of dust and animal hair on the floor. The water smelled terrible, and rust came out of the faucets (once while brushing teeth .... so we decided not to shower here). Hot tub was nice and clean and heater and fireplace kept the home cozy.Most importantly: NO wifi - and beware you MUST have a 4x4 vehicle in the winter (this is not listed until you confirm your stay).
