Getaway with our boys

The property had plenty of space for the large group. We gathered in the large kitchen for meals and used the 2nd kitchen as a back up. The boys loved the hot tub and back deck area. The surrounding state park is a must see.

Family vacation

Our family had the best time at this beautiful home! The accommodation was clean, the location was great with amazing views, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. A wonderful experience for the whole family with a wide range of kids.

Perfect Retreat!

The property was exactly what we were looking for! Our staff of 13 stayed with plenty of room and great hangout spaces. There were games, an Xbox, and beautiful hiking spaces to enjoy. Hot tub was in perfect condition and the sauna was amazing after a hike. Great experience. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderful Winter Stay

Excellent property for multi family get together. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and parking. Everyone was able to spread out and enjoy themselves. Kitchen was awesome with enough seating for all. We spent most of our time playing games in the lower level. Kids enjoyed hiking on property in the snow.

Family Vacay

We had a great time being close to Hocking Hills. The property was fun to explore and the kids enjoyed the paddle boards on the lake. We were 16 people and fit comfortably. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and pots and pans.The pool was not open so we can’t speak for that. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable.

Great family getaway

We had an amazing stay & fun exploring the property. The owners promptly delt with issues including empty propane tanks and a missing bed due to the addition of a pool. Everyone has already agreed we must return next year. Great space!

Absolutely Stunning Property & Room for All!!

We had a large family gathering for 25 people including babies, kids, teens, parents, grandparents, and great grandparents! There was PLENTY of room for all, beautiful accommodations (inside and out), super clean pool, large kitchen, lake, and gathering spaces. The host was very prompt and accommodating with our needs. We were first timers to the area, and we’ll be back!!

Wonderful Family Reunion Weekend !!!

The house is beautiful and the grounds as well. We had a family reunion for 27 and had a wonderful time. The house offered wonderful rooms, plenty of activities like the pool, ping pong and jacuzzi. The kids loved the bunkbed area and xbox game. The hike down to the lake for fishing and hiking was fantastic. Beautiful views from everywhere. Everything was just the best!!!

Family Reunion Memories

Christmas in June.

We bought this getaway for our parents for Christmas. Family time is the best present of all. This was a great success with everything from hiking, paddle boarding, paddle boats, fishing, and swimming, there was something for everyone. Beautiful place with lots to offer! Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms as well.

This place was perfect for us. The property is absolutely beautiful. The whole area is gorgeous. The house is just amazing. It had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive. The beds were comfortable. The common areas had everything we needed. They had board games and a pool table as well. We already want to come back again. Loved it.

Great for retreat

The property is beautiful and perfect for a retreat. The loft is not private, so not ideal for adults but would be great for kids. All the beds were very comfortable. Lower level does not have a bathroom. The hot tube, sauna and the grounds were wonderful bonuses to this beautiful estate.

Family Christmas

Every year we bring our family - kids and grands - to Hocking Hills for a week after Christmas. It's our time to run away from day to day life and just BE. We merge 6 families with ages from 4 to 70. This property was beautiful and I was able to easily take to older grands hiking just on the property. This is an excellent property if some want to be more distant, more away from the rest of the family, since the log cabin portion is separated by a long hall ("the secret passageway" according to the grands). Our only concern was the kids bunk room was well separated from where parents would sleep. Otherwise, an excellent stay!

Two for One

This property is like having two vacation getaways in one rental. The cabin is quiet and cozy while the main home is spacious and filled with great spaces to host a large family gathering. The main kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals with high end appliances and a large island. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are stocked with towels, soap, and shampoo in case you forgot anything. The property has a great variety of spaces to accommodate your whole group at once or to break off for some quiet time. The pond, trails, and grounds are beautiful. The host was very responsive and welcoming. Thank you!

The perfect place for big for big families-seclusion was a plus!

We had six families stay here and it comfortably accommodated each of us. There was ample space for parking. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware which was so nice while cooking for 23 people! It’s a beautiful property for spending time outdoors-access to trails, paddle boarding, etc. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. It was the perfect place for a secluded getaway. It was also close to shopping centres for any needed supplies. It was overall a very wonderful experience.

Awesome Thanksgiving Getaway

We had an awesome time celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday in this beautiful destination home. There was more than enough space to stretch out and relax and have cozy accommodations with plenty of lounge areas. A nice sleeping area for the kids complete with video games and a pool table. Hot tub was relaxing and with 130 acres of wooded trails there was plenty of nature to see… including a waterfall! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to get some family and/or friends together to celebrate a special occasion or just an opportunity to have a relaxing retreat in the woods!

A private getaway

From the winding road to the solitary pond, this property is your perfect private getaway. The house itself has plenty of space to spread out. You have all of the amenities you could need including a pool, hot tub, sauna, and a dream kitchen. With shops just 10 minutes away, you’re secluded but not isolated. We had a wonderful time hanging out, playing games, and still having plenty of privacy for all 10 in our party. If you want space and scenery, this is the property for you.

A Beautiful Space For Gatherings

This space is amazing. They have provided everything you need inside. The beds and linens are high quality so everyone in the home can be comfortable and sleep well. The nature is gorgeous around and you will get to look at a private lake with the morning mist and the sun pouring through the trees (one of our favorite parts). I have stayed in many VRBO's and this is by far one of the best I have visited. Their communication is wonderful, check in and out is easy, and the space itself is gorgeous and unique.

A beautifully designed retreat

Our group of 29 women and girls enjoyed the space and the luxury amenities so much! The hike to the waterfall was a favorite and we enjoyed doing cold plunges there. The hot tub and sauna were also so nice for the cool evenings! The house had so many beautiful small nooks to relax in, as well as a big livingroom where everyone could hang out. The outdoor firepit was so easy to use and very much enjoyed!! We needed help with a couple things and they were quick to reply and helpful. 10/10

A wonderful home for a big family gathering

The 18 members of our extended family gathered in this fantastic home to celebrate Thanksgiving. The home is beautiful and there is space for everyone to be together or find a bit of quiet time. The hosts are very thoughtful. The fluffy towels were a particularly nice treat as was the fact that they provided coffee filters and coffee. The two kitchens, particularly the large main kitchen, provided a ton of cooking space; we were able to collectively prepare Thanksgiving dinner without falling over each other. The hot tub was also a big hit, particularly during the light snow showers. It was great to be nice and warm while the snow collected on the patio chairs. The property also has some nice hiking trails through the woods. The trails we took were clear and easy to follow. All in all, this is a topflight home that is perfect for large groups. The photos on the VRBO website accurately convey the details, but can't quite convey the overall spaciousness of the home. Thanks to the hosts for making this wonderful home available.
