"I guess I should have done more research on Lodwar in general. The heat was oppressive and the general look of the city depressing. The room was okay only because I asked for no room cleaning. I did this because of the mosquitoes. The windows and door and gaps which allowed bugs and flies entry. The plumbing fixtures were rudimentary. No amenities except for a small soap. The pool looked nice but it was so darn hot. The restaurant lack AC and was open air and was swarming with flies."
